MOVING FROM COBOL TO C

DP Managers and COBOL programmers will be pleased to hear about one of the
latest releases from the SAMS Division of Prentice Hall. "Moving from
COBOL to C" is a book especially designed to teach 'C' to programmers who
are already conversant with COBOL.

Besieged by a growing number of COBOL programmers who wanted to learn 'C'
but who had dropped out of various courses or were left behind by books
that took giant leaps in assuming the programmer knew something not
covered in the book, the author, Mo Budlong decided to try a new approach.
By using concepts that are familiar to COBOL programmers and by comparing
and illustrating the differences and similarities to 'C' code, he builds a
solid base to successfully approach and master concepts alien in COBOL
programming.

"Moving from COBOL to C" is available from King Computer Services, Inc., PO
