DPT to Host SCSI Technology Conference
Industry Leaders to Address Mass Storage Trends

Maitland, Florida (2/22/93) - Distributed Processing Technology (DPT) will
bring key industry leaders together to highlight mass storage technology
and future trends as part of the 1993 DPT SCSI Technology Conference, to
be held May 12-14 at Walt Disney World Village near Orlando, Florida. This
unique event offers attendees the opportunity to discuss the latest in
SCSI technology face-to-face with the industry's leading product planners
and market strategists in an informal, "rub elbows" setting.

DPT has assembled an impressive array of speakers for this event, including
conference keynote speaker Rick Inatome, chairman of the board of InaCom
Corp., who will address worldwide trends in PC distribution channels. The
technical keynote speaker, John Lohmeyer, chairman of the ANSI X3T9.2 SCSI
Committee, will discuss the evolution of SCSI and its new directions,
including SCSI-3.

Other speakers include: Jack Boyce, IBM's lead architect of OS/2; David
Bernstein, SCO's director of technology; Darren Major, chief designer of
Novell's NetWare Peripheral Architecture; Mike Glass, Microsoft's designer
of Windows NT SCSI architecture; Gene Milligan, Seagate's director of
product strategy; Bernie Wu, director of Maynard's workstation product
group; Rob Wight; general manager of Conner Software; Peter Jones, DEC's
RAID subsystem project leader; and Bob Conway, HP's DDS product manager.

"This conference is designed to bring the most up-to-date information on
SCSI technology and mass storage products to system integrators,
resellers, distributors and manufacturers," said David Race, DPT's vice
president of marketing, "and it promises to be the year's most exciting
and comprehensive technology summit."

The Technology Exhibit portion of the conference will provide an inside
look at the most recent developments in SCSI, enabling attendees to speak
with development/design engineers on a "nuts-and-bolts" level. Over 25
hardware and software suppliers including IBM, Microsoft, DEC, NCR, SCO,
Seagate, Maynard, Hewlett Packard, Novell, Archive, Conner, Sony, Corel,
Cheyenne, Sytron and Corollary will demonstrate their latest products.
Look for some new product introductions from participating companies as
well.

The third day of the conference will be a hands-on technical certification
course for DPT integrators covering installation, performance,
troubleshooting and configuration of SCSI subsystems, as well as training
on the next generation of DPT products.

The 1993 DPT SCSI Technology Conference will take place at the Grosvenor
Resort at Walt Disney World Village in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
Registration fees are $795 for general attendees and $395 for DPT
Preferred Resellers. To receive more information or to make reservations,
contact DPT's Channel Marketing Department at (800) 322-4DPT.
