NEW VIDEO COURSEWARE FOR POWERPOINT 3.0

Los Gatos, California, U.S.A., December 11, 1992 -- Anderson Soft-Teach
announces it will ship a complete video training course for PowerPoint
3.0. Shipments of the training package will begin January 31, 1993.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND COURSE TOPICS

The new PowerPoint 3.0 training courseware includes three volumes which
cover the essentials of PowerPoint. Topics covered in Volume I include
creating and editing slides, adding clip art and reorganizing a
presentation. Volume 2 provides instruction on drawing in PowerPoint, as
well as using master pages, color schemes and templates. In Volume 3, the
student will learn how to create and customize graphs, create notes, pages
and handouts, and create an on-screen presentation. Detailed course
outlines can be obtained directly from Anderson Soft-Teach.

Each training volume includes a videotape for instruction, a step-by-step
workbook and practice disk for hands-on practice (disk duplication license
also included), and a self-test to measure learning retention. Anderson
Soft-Teach will also send a certificate of completion to each person who
successfully completes the self-test.

The three volume course will be sold for $995.

THE SMART CLASSROOM

The "Smart Classroom" approach, created by Anderson Soft-Teach, is helping
many training professionals successfully meet their training demand while
faced with shrinking resources, frequent version changes, multiple
platforms, and the explosion of Windows products.

In a "Smart Classroom," Anderson Soft-Teach videotapes are used as the
"lecture" portion of the class. A teacher or facilitator monitors the
class, starting and stopping the videotapes to introduce topics,
facilitate discussion, answer questions, initiate hands-on exercises, and
administer the self-test. There is a tremendous savings in course
development and delivery time for the teacher/facilitator. Students find
the methodology visual and stimulating.

The "Smart Classroom" works well with a teacher or a "class
leader/facilitator" monitoring the class. Since the videotapes and
workbooks drive the class, the teacher can choose to stay in the classroom
the entire time, or to "come and go" while class is in session.

Trainers already using the "Smart Classroom" report that they are putting
many more students through their PC training programs by using Anderson
Soft-Teach videotapes and workbooks as the core of their classes. The
"instant training" possible with this courseware allows them to maintain a
comprehensive selection of courses. They can also use the courseware to
"train-the-trainer." In addition, Anderson Soft-Teach courseware is simple
to implement at multiple sites within a corporation.

The "Smart Classroom" helps trainers avoid burnout, allows them to develop
and teach higher-level classes, and lets them focus on additional areas of
responsibility.

According to Joyce Boeringer, Systems Analyst for McDonnell Douglas, "Using
the Anderson Soft-Teach courses in the classroom has allowed us to train
about 120 students per week. It seems we're always trying to do more with
less, " says Boeringer, " and using Anderson Soft-Teach in the class is
one of the ways we've found to do it."

VIDEO COURSES ARE NOW CLOSE-CAPTIONED FOR THE HEARING IMPAIRED

With the recent passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA),
companies are now required to accommodate the working environment of
people with disabilities. Anderson Soft-Teach has recognized this need and
is close cpationing its instructional videotapes. The hearing impaired
individual can now learn from our courses by reading the subtitles on the
screen as the instructor speaks. Open-captioning is also offered for
situations where a decoder box is not available.
