COMPUEXPO'S FIRST YEAR SHOW OPENS TODAY BRINGING THE NEXT TEN YEARS OF THE
PC REVOLUTION TO LAS VEGAS, NEVADA 

Show Floor Completely Sold Out With 200 Exhibitors

(Las Vegas, NV September 21) -- COMPUEXPO '92 opens the doors today for its
first year show at the Las Vegas Convention Center with almost 200
exhibitors showcasing their products and services on a sold out show
floor.

COMPUEXPO will feature the New Products Announcement Center which will
showcase and announce new products from the ACER Group, SIIG, Colorado
Memory Systems, and many other industry leaders. The New Products Center
will span the full spectrum of computer software and hardware services,
including: desktop computers, notebooks, multimedia, pen-based computers,
networking and much more.

The show hours for COMPUEXPO today are 10AM to 5PM, Tuesday and Wednesday
is 9AM to 5PM and Thursday will be 9 AM to 4PM.

COMPUEXPO will also be offering a sixteen session conference program
chaired by many industry leaders. The keynote speakers will be Gordon
Campbell, CEO of Chips & Technologies, John Patrick, VP Personal
Programming for IBM, and C.S. Kuo, General Manager OEM Sales for Microsoft
Corp.

IBM will be showcasing their product line and will have demonstrations from
the following groups: Personal Computer Company, OS/2 Division, Networking
Systems and Application Solutions Businesses. IBM will be offering
COMPUEXPO attendees a total array of IBM OEM products and services for
review through their touchscreen KIOSK System.

The Microsoft OEM New Business Group will be at COMPUEXPO promoting the
Microsoft Easy Distribution program to companies manufacturing or
assembling PC systems. The new MED program gives OEM's access to MS DOS
5.0 and Windows 3.1 directly from Microsoft.
