SAN JOSE, CA-JULY 29, 1992--Accolade, a leading publisher of sports
simulations, today announced it has reached an agreement with the Major
League Baseball Players Association to publish the first add-on disk
featuring digitized color photographs of the real players from the Major
League Baseball teams. Exclusively for use with the best-selling Al
Michaels Announces HardBall III, the HardBall III MLBPA Players Disk will
feature real players from all 26 Major League teams. The company also
announced the details of HardBall III Big League Ballpark Disk, a second
add-on disk for use with HardBall III. The Big League Ballpark Disk will
contain 18 accurately detailed professional ballparks such as Oakland,
Minnesota and Montreal. Together, these add-on disks will unlock some of
the hidden features in HardBall III that, until now, were not accessible.
Both add-on disks will be sold separately at a suggested retail price of
$24.95. The MLBPA Players Disk and Big League Ballpark Disk are scheduled
to release for IBM PC and compatible computers in August and September,
respectively.

With the MLBPA Players Disk, HardBall III provides baseball fans with an
entire league of players the names, faces and statistics of their favorite
Major League players. The add-on disk features active players from both
the National and American Baseball Leagues and their statistics

The Big League Ballpark disk contains the remaining 18 stadiums (eight are
I from both the American League and the National League. Additional season
for expansion teams, are also provided. Each of the stadiums are rendered
in and built to exact specifications to look and play like real life.
