DraftChoice Version 2.0

TRIUS proudly announces the release of DraftChoice Version 2.0, with
significantly increased redrawing speed, support for a math co-processor,
and a host of other new features:

New file formats include PCX and Scanned PCX (bit-mapped) images which are
automatically converted to vector based drawings - Math Co-processor
support speeds up screen re-drawing by 10% to 50%, depending upon the
drawing. Note that a math co-processor is NOT required to use DraftChoice
- New drawing constraints give you the ability to draw perpendicular,
parallel, tangent, and offset lines - New copy commands allow creation of
pseudo 3-D line drawings or duplication of entities along a user selected
path - New cornering capabilities include Chamfer and Meet - Groups of
entities can now be dynamically altered using either the Warp or Control
commands - The new Tween command allows unique multi-copy morphing from
one shape to another with a single instruction - Up to 8 named Zoom views
may be set by the user to permit immediate zooming for detailed work and
shortcut screen updates - Up to 5 multi-line macros let you customize your
application - User-definable Hatch and Fill Patterns and Line Styles - Up
to 256 layers in 16 colors - PostScript Printer support, and much more!

Version 2.0 requires an IBM PC or compatible computer having a minimum of
384K RAM free, DOS 2.11 or later, and a graphics video card. While a hard
disk is preferred, the program will run on computers having a single 720K
floppy drive or 2-360K floppy drives.

The registration price for DraftChoice Version 2.0 is $75.00 ($69.00, plus
$6.00 shipping and handling) .

A powerful object-oriented CAD program with EEMS, Virtual Disk Memory and
math coprocessor support, scaling capabilities, symbol library management,
multiple fonts, and much more! Create amazingly detailed drawings,
impressive graphics, or conceptual schematics with ease. Intuitive
commands, drop-down menus, and on-line help make it easy to use and a snap
to learn.

Features include coordinates, grid, snap-to-points, attach, construction
marks, undo, 256 layers, 8 named views, orthogonal and isometric modes,
psuedo 3-D line drawings, multiple fonts, popup scientific calculator, 5
multi-line keyboard macros, and shell to DOS. Accepts input from keyboard
cursor keys, mouse, digitizing tablet, or typing of X-Y coordinates. Up to
20 user-definable line styles and hatch patterns, and 50 fill patterns to
choose from.

Draw commands include line, box, circle, arc, text, polygon, Bezier,
complex, spline, and freehand curves. Create complex shapes with
parametric function generator.

Edit commands include linear, circular, path, and volume array, break,
copy, erase, explode, fillet, fit, mirror, move, rotate, rubber, scale,
trim, and extend. Alter commands allow you to change the line style, fill
pattern, hatch pattern, units, text, and join, fillet, champher, or meet
objects. Warp and Control commands allow entities to be dynamically
altered. Tween allows multi-copy morphing from one shape to another with a
single instruction.

Measure commands feature manually drawn leaders, semi-automatic
dimensioning of length, angle, diameter, radius, and boundaries. Query
objects to determine length, angle, area, style, fill, pattern, width,
layer, and X-Y coordinates. Determine redraw speed, video mode, memory
usage, co-processor support, and more.

Create symbol libraries for those frequently used complex objects. Animate
feature allows the recording and playback of symbols. Modify existing text
fonts or create your own fonts.

Plot to 9/24 pin dot matrix, PostScript, and HP compatible LaserJet
printers, and HPGL compatible pen plotters. Supports HGA, CGA, EGA, VGA,
and AT&T graphics modes.

Save drawings as DCH (DraftChoice drawing format) or SYM (DraftChoice
symbol format). Export to PIC (spreadsheet graphic format), binary byte
image, PCX, WPG, HPGL or printer formatted files. Imports ASCII text,
ASCII value (X-Y coordinate pairs), PIC, PCX, SPCX, WPG, and HPGL files.

Registration includes a 185-page bound user's manual and newsletter. TRIUS,
