Street Atlas USA--Taking the Country By Storm

FREEPORT, Maine; May 15, 1993--Street Atlas USA, a computerized street map
of the entire United States, has caught and held the attention of the
media and is being snatched up by consumers. More than 90 percent of
Street Atlas USA users describe it as a "great" product.

The program was the best-selling CD-ROM title in the country earlier this
year, and has been consistently ranked among the 10 best-selling titles
almost since its introduction more than 18 months ago, according to
several publications that track computer software sales. In addition, PC
Magazine recently featured Street Atlas USA as one of "27 reasons to buy a
CD-ROM drive." The product was also a finalist in Multimedia World 's
Readers' Choice Awards.

Street Atlas USA provides a highly-detailed, seamless map database of the
entire country. Users can zoom in on every city, town, and rural area in
the United States. The database contains more than 5 million streets and
1.1 million geographic and man-made features, such as mountains, rivers,
lakes, and prominent monuments.

Street Atlas USA is very easy to use. You type in the name of a city and
state, telephone area code and exchange, or zip code to find any area of
the country. You can then search for any street within the map you're
viewing. In larger metropolitan areas, Street Atlas USA also displays
block address ranges.

Maps include city and town names; highway, street, and road names;
railroads; many mountains, rivers, lakes, and streams; and many prominent
buildings and monuments.

You can print maps by exporting them to the Windows clipboard and pasting
them in a graphics program, such as Paintbrush. If you printed out all of
Street Atlas USA at the highest level of magnification, the finished map
would cover more than 10 football fields.

PC Magazine recently said, "Street Atlas USA is an elegant software
package; it's impressive in the amount of data it offers and yet
marvelously easy to use. Street Atlas USA is fascinating"

Street Atlas USA has a retail price of $169. It is widely available in
retail computer stores and mail-order catalogs. Street Atlas USA comes on
a single CDROM, and requires an IBM or compatible PC ('386 or '486
recommended), CD-ROM drive, VGA graphics display, mouse, 2 MB of RAM, 2 MB
of free hard-disk space, MS-DOS 4.01 or higher, and Windows 3.0 or 3.1.
