PANASONIC COMMUNICATIONS & SYSTEMS CO. OFFERS WIDE RANGE OF MULTI-FREQUENCY
MONITORS

NEW YORK, June 29, 1993 -- At PC Expo '93, Panasonic Communications &
Systems Company (PCSC) is showcasing its family of multi-frequency
monitors. The selection is designed to provide the perfect product for all
computer users -- from professional graphics designers to home-based
workers. The line is on display at PCSC's booth #4334.

PanaSync/Pro C1795E Combining low ELF, VLF and electrostatic emission
levels with PanaColor Real Color Matching Power and AGRAS CRT coating, the
17-inch flat square screen C1795E gives users optimum performance in a
compact, lightweight monitor. Though the footprint is a space-efficient
284-square-inches, the C1795E offers up to 67 percent greater image area
than 14-inch monitors, and its net weight of 45.2 pounds helps make the
C1795E transportable from one office to another.

PanaColor Real Color Matching Power allows users to precisely control the
color on the display, making it easy to match the color printing output
from a Macintosh, a PC running Windows 3.1 or OS/2 2.0, or a workstation
running Windows when using up to a 16-million color video graphics board.
No matter what system is used, the C1795E produces a crisp, clear image
with excellent corner and edge focus. Color coded digital push buttons and
LED indicators make it easy to select the correct control operation, and
its fast mode switching leads to greater user productivity.

The AGRAS (Anti-Glare, anti-Reflection Screen) screen resists finger
prints, and may be cleaned easily with a non-abrasive cleaner. Also, the
screen provides protection from glare without degradation to image
quality.

The C1795E offers 1,280 x 1,024 maximum resolution, with an operating range
of 30 to 79 kHz horizontal and 50 to 90 Hz vertical. The monitor is
compatible with VGA, Ergo VGA, Super VGA, ErgoSVGA and Extended VGA
standards, and supports 8514/A, XGA, Macintosh and Sun platforms as well.

The PanaSync/Pro C1795E is available at a suggested retail price of $1,579

PanaSync/Pro C1991

The 20-inch PanaSync/Pro C1991 displays up to two full pages of crisp color
images at a maximum resolution of 1,280 x 1,024 and features a 0.31 mm dot
pitch for enhanced legibility. It automatically scans all horizontal
frequencies between 30 to 68 kHz and vertical frequencies between 50 to 90
Hz.

Fourteen preset auto-size/centering modes makes the C1991 ideal for desktop
publishing and related applications. A user programming feature enables
users to record vertical and horizontal image sizing and centering for up
to 840 user programmable settings for 210 input modes.

The PanaSync C1991 is compatible with IBM PCs, XTs, ATs and PS/2s, and also
works with Apple Macintosh II computers. The monitor can be used with a

PanaSync C1395

Both IBM-compatible and Apple users can take advantage of the C1395's high
contrast, sharp color palette. The 14-inch monitor offers a 1,024 x 768
pixel maximum non-interlaced resolution, with 13 preset modes to ensure
visually accurate proportions. The C1395 automatically scans all
horizontal frequencies between 30 to 57 kHz and vertical frequencies
between 50 to 90 Hz.

The PanaSync C1395 is compatible with IBM PCs, XTs, ATs and PS/2s, and also
works with Apple Macintosh II computers using an optional C81M2 Macintosh
II/VGA adapter cable. This monitor can also be used with a variety of
video graphics boards, using 8514/A, SVGA, XGA, VGA and MCGA standards.

The PanaSync C1395 is available for a suggested retail price of $750. An
optional Macintosh TMACSTD adapter cable is available for a suggested
retail price of $9.95.

PanaSync C1381i

The C1381i, a direct upgrade of the PanaSync C1381, is a 14-inch monitor
designed to provide high-end performance at a moderate price point.

Among its features are a super dark CRT for enhanced contrast ratio, 45 MHz
video band width for sharp images and a wide 38 kHz horizontal frequency
for increased versatility.

The C1381i offers 1,024 x 768 maximum interlaced image resolution and 800 x
600 maximum non-interlaced resolution. Like all Panasonic multi-frequency
monitors, it automatically adjusts to the sync signals of a variety of
video graphics boards, making it compatible with MCGA, VGA, SVGA, XGA and
8514/A standards. The graphics potential of IBM PCs, XTs, ATs, PS/2s and
compatibles, as well as Apple Macintosh IIs (using the optional TMACSTD
adapter cable) are all enhanced when used with the C1381i.

The monitor automatically adjusts image size along the vertical and
horizontal axes to ensure visually accurate proportions. Its 0.28 mm dot
pitch produces clear, crisp text and graphics.

The PanaSync C 13 8 li color monitor is available for a suggested retail
price of $565.

All PanaSync monitors are sold through authorized PCSC dealers and
