ASP Continues Aggressive Bid for Market Share

Backs New JetLAN Model Introductions with up to 25% Price Decrease;
Positions Broadest Print-Server Line for Market Leadership

Sunnyvale, Calif., June 22, 1993--ASP Computer Products, the leader in
Hassle-Free Connectivity, today announced price reductions of up to 25% on
several of its JetLAN Family print servers for Novell NetWare networks. In
addition to today's introduction of the JetLAN 4p, these price reductions
follow the company's release of three other new print servers over the
past several months, including the JetLAN 2P for Ethernet, ARCNET and
Token Ring networks.

Part of the company's continuing and successful bid for market share, these
price drops make the industry's most feature-laden print servers more
affordable than ever before. ASP provides its rapidly expanding customer
base with the broadest range of print servers, whether they need an
internal product with either an XIO or MIO interface, or an external
device with one, two or four ports. And, ASP offers products that cover
the key network topologies--Ethernet, ARCNET and Token Ring.

Effective immediately, the price reductions affect the JetLAN series of
internal-installation print server cards, and the JetLAN/P and JetLAN 2P
series of external-installation print servers. ASP's JetLAN print servers
allow network administrators to connect between one and four printers
anywhere on an Ethernet, ARCNET or Token Ring network running NetWare,
eliminating the need to dedicate an expensive PC to manage network
printing.

"Our JetLAN/P came out on top in PC Week's recent review of several
pocket-sized print servers (May 31, 1993), " said ASP's president, Amnon
Even-Kesef. "As the leader in print servers, we're committed to delivering
hassle-free printing giving customers the best performance for the price."
The JetLAN/P is also the recipient of PC Magazine 's prestigious "Editor's
Choice" award (Jan. 26,1993).

JetLANs slip into the optional input/output (XIO) or the modular I/O (MIO)
slot of most HP LaserJet laser printers. The JetLAN XIO is now priced $150
lower, at $445. Customers can choose either a 10BaseT or 10Base2 media
interface. The JetLAN MIO with a 10BaseT connection is also priced $150
less, at $445 . The price of the JetLAN MIO with a 10Base2 connection has
been lowered from $595 to $475. These JetLAN internal installation
products are also available for selected Canon and Brother laser
printers.

The JetLAN/P, ASP's external pocket-sized print server that attaches to any
printer with a standard parallel port, is now priced at $495, $100 less
than before. The JetLAN 2P for ARCNET which allows any two printers to be
connected to the network is now priced $100 less than before at $595. The
JetLAN 2P for ARCNET is the only print server solution available for
ARCNET network administrators today.

JetLANs are available now directly from ASP and through the company's
dealers and distributors worldwide. For more information, call
