Description:

Apple Computer, Inc. announced today it is currently shipping its SNA-ps
5250 emulation software package, which allows Macintosh(g users to access
applications residing on IBM's Application System/400 family of midrange

the extensive suite of applications available on IBM's AS/400 systems,
enabling both standalone as well as network access to the AS/400.

The SNA-ps 5250 GC (Gateway Connection) is also available for connecting a
single Macintosh computer on an AppleTalk network to AS/400 systems
through the SNA-ps Gateway version 2.0, which is also currently shipping.

NB Card installed in any Macintosh 11 or Macintosh Quadra computer,
supporting directly connected or AppleTalk distributed 5250 sessions.
