NCF RECEIVES ADDITIONAL DONATION OF LAPTOP COMPUTERS FROM MET LIFE

May 10, 1993, New York - Dr. Yvette Marrin, President of the National
Cristina Foundation (NCF), has announced another donation of laptop
computers from MetLife. As a demonstration of their continuing interest in
the efforts of NCF, MetLife has followed their initial donation of 200
laptop computers with 50 additional laptops.

This equipment has become available as the MetLife sales force upgraded
their computers. The contribution is an indication of MetLife's continued
support of NCF's efforts to train people with disabilities, at-risk
students and the disadvantaged.

NCF has distributed, at no charge, thousands of used and surplus computers
in 40 states and five countries. Over 100,000 people have benefitted from
these donations. "It's particularly gratifying," said Dr. Marrin, "that a
major insurance company such as MetLife with its commitment to promoting
well-being supports our goals to help 'people with differing abilities'
lead more independent and productive lives.
