Lifeboat Publishing Acquires Publication Rights to Island Systems Product
Line

SHREWSBURY, NJ, Feb. 24,1994--Lifeboat Publishing has acquired the
exclusive worldwide publishing rights for the Island Systems' product line
including object-Menu, graphics-Menu and The Stork.

Island Systems is the author of cross-platform productivity tools for DOS,
Windows/NT and OS/2, and has been providing quality software development
tools for over seven years. It will continue to develop and enhance its
existing products, and has plans to launch new development that will add
to the Lifeboat Publishing product line.

"We are confident that Island Systems' strong technology offering, combined
with Lifeboat's strong presence in the development arena and its extensive
marketing capabilities, will provide a bright future for the product
line", said David Herman, president of Island Systems.

The Island Systems acquisition provides two new product areas for Lifeboat
Publishing: GUI development and installation. "The Island Systems' product
line provides Lifeboat with additional strong offerings in the DOS and
Windows/NT tools market", said Tom DeGarmo, general manager of Lifeboat
Publishing. "Moreover, object-Menu provides a programming link between
DOS, Windows/NT and OS/2 via its portable architecture. object-Menu's
innovative approach to application design integrates the GUI elements
seamlessly with the application internals to minimize the overall
development effort."

object-Menu is a cross-platform application framework for C++ that contains
all of the necessary elements to create a complete application interface
in the style of Windows, Motif or any customized style. object-Menu
includes libraries that allow a single application source to be compiled
to be run under DOS, Windows, Windows NT, and OS/2. object-Menu features a
very short learning curve due to its intuitive methodology and Visual
Design Tool.

graphics-Menu is a high performance GUI toolkit for DOS graphics
development in C or Pascal. graphics-Menu's procedural methodology and
small executable size make it the ideal choice for DOS-based vertical or
embedded applications.

The Stork rounds out the product line providing a compiler independent
utility for creating a professional, user friendly installation procedure
that runs under DOS. The Stork contains extensive error checking and
reporting capability to produce an installation that is error-free as well
as bullet-proof. Additionally, The Stork is the only installation software
that creates an installation with no underlying programming language
resulting in the fastest development and lowest cost of maintenance.

List price for object-Menu starts at $299 including single platform support
and Visual Design Tool. Multi-platform and source versions are also
available. graphics-Menu pricing starts at $249 with a source version
available. The Stork is priced at $175. There are no royalties, license
fees or required banners associated with any of these products. These
products can be obtained directly from Lifeboat Publishing as well as
through authorized resellers including Programmer's Paradise and Corsoft.
Dealer inquiries are handled through Lifeboat Distribution.

Lifeboat Publishing was formed in 1991 as a division of Voyager- Software
Corp which also includes Lifeboat Distribution, Programmer's Paradise and
Corsoft. Lifeboat Publishing is committed to providing high quality
