New Enhanced Versions of PicturePak Clip Art

Beginning July 1, 1992, Imageline, Inc. will introduce its enhanced
PicturePak clip art products for the Windows/DOS and Macintosh
environments for worldwide distribution. Imageline, a Richmond,
Virginia-based publisher of graphics software accessory products and
services, recently acquired the PicturePak products from Islandview/MGI.
Imageline officials estimate there to be more than 4 million users of
PicturePak worldwide.

PicturePak, which was introduced in 1985 as one of the first DOS-compatible
clip art products, now provides Windows, DOS and Macintosh users with the
best value in clip art on the market. The PicturePak product line offers
several single-product solutions for high-quality clip art to users of
presentation graphics, desktop publishing, word processing, spreadsheet
and other miscellaneous "graphics capable" applications. Each PicturePak
product is organized by subject matter and offers unique collections of
icons, symbols, borders, backgrounds, illustrations, and other graphic
images.

The new PicturePak product line will incorporate several new enhancements.
The most significant enhancement is the inclusion of color images as a
standard product feature. In addition, the new products provide each clip
art image in the two most popular file formats on both PC and Mac
platforms. The two file format products, CGM and PCX for Windows/DOS or
EPS and PICT2 for the Macintosh, provide the capability for high-quality
color, grayscale and black & white output. Each PicturePak image, whether
vector or raster, is usable as is and is fully editable with a compatible
drawing, paint or graphics application. Each PicturePak product has also
been re-packaged to include 80% more images than their previous versions,
in addition to the added color images.

In addition to the enhanced product features, Imageline will also announce
a significantly reduced price for its new PicturePak line, with a
reduction in price as much as 75% over previous product versions.
Imageline has established Suggested Retail Prices for PicturePak 1,2,3 at
$59 U.S., and ValuePak 1 at $99 U.S.

The new PicturePak line has been test-marketed through both the retail and
corporate & government channels of Egghead Software. Imageline gave
Egghead exclusive distribution rights for the new PicturePak products
through June 30, 1992. Egghead will continue to market the new products
through its 180 retail store front operations as well as its 150 Corporate
& Government Sales (CGS) Representatives in 45 major metropolitan markets.
"We aligned with Egghead Software because they offer Imageline the best
penetration into our three primary markets; retail, corporate, and
government," says Michael D. Stewart, Imageline's Senior Vice President of
Product Sales. "Our market test with Egghead has allowed us to measure the
new products' success before officially taking it to mass distribution.
Our experience and instincts told us that our new product strategy was
right on the money and the results we've enjoyed with Egghead have proven
our instincts to be 100% correct," adds Mr. Stewart.

In addition to the new single-user versions of the PicturePak products,
Imageline will introduce two new networking products as well as a site
license of the new PicturePak for all large accounts, corporate and
government organizations. These new products offer corporate and
government customers a consistent, single-product solution for all clip
art needs on a volume-price basis. PicturePak is the only clip art
solution for the mixed-platform environment.

The PicturePak LanPak, available in 10-seat or 100-seat configurations,
offers IBM-compatible or Macintosh network users high-quality vector and
raster images for use with all compatible network applications. The
PicturePak LanPak combines PicturePak 1,2,3 and ValuePak 1, offering users
perpetual access to more than 1500 consolidated clip art images
representing more than 6500 usable clip art objects. The PicturePak
LanPak, which is also offered through Egghead, has a Suggested Retail
Price of $695 for the 1 0-seat product and $4,995 for the 100-seat
product, for either IBM or Macintosh networks. Both PicturePak LanPak
products include 120 days of free technical support from Imageline at no
additional charge and original documentation manuals for each licensed
user.

The PicturePak SitePak offers corporate and government accounts
high-quality vector images for use with all IBM-compatible and Macintosh
single-user and network computer systems, within a single physical
location. The PicturePak SitePak combines PicturePak 1,2,3 and ValuePak 1,
offering users perpetual use of more than 1500 consolidated clip art
images representing more than 6500 usable clip art objects. The PicturePak
SitePak is also offered through Egghead and has a Suggested Retail Price
of $29,000 for distribution up to 1000 users within a single physical site
or location. The PicturePak SitePak also includes 120 days of free
