NEW YORK, June 23, 1992 - NCR Corporation and Fluent, Inc., today announced
an agreement under which NCR will offer Fluent's FluentView digital video
software on its new NCR 3331 Multimedia Learning Station.

FluentView software enables users to play digital video clips with
synchronized audio as part of any Microsoft Windows application, saving
the expense of an add-in video decompression card. The product is part of
Fluent's Fluency family for developing and delivering digital video
applications.

NCR is demonstrating the NCR 3331 Multimedia Learning Station at PC EXPO
here, and will market the product worldwide starting in August.

The companies expect that the FluentView licensing agreement will be the
first in a series of similar agreements to integrate Fluency software
products into NCR's Multimedia Learning Station product line, which is
targeted at on-line business training and education applications.

"Today we are announcing integrated video capabilities that will
dramatically improve user interest and learning retention," said Neil
Whittington, NCR's assistant vice president for the Multimedia Business
Unit. "We selected Fluent as a partner because they're the leaders in
digital video system software for standalone and networked applications."

According to Dick Meise, Fluent president and chief executive officer, "NCR
is offering a world-class solution for multimedia training and education,
and I am very pleased that they selected Fluent software to bring digital
video capabilities to their customers."

Fluency products also include FluentLinks NetWare compatible server
software for controlling video playback over networks, and FluentCreate
software for capturing, compressing, editing and storing video segments as
digital data. These products are compatible with a variety of video
compression add-in cards supporting Intel's DVI digital motion video
technology and other international image compression standards.

Fluent is a leading developer of software products that integrate
full-motion digital video and audio into desktop computer applications.
The company distributes its products worldwide through OEMs and
resellers.
