Everex Strengthens Popular Mid-range Tempo Product Line with Five
Aggressively-Priced Models

Balancing price and performance for today's mainstream business user

PC Expo, New York--June 23, 1992--Everex Systems, Inc. today strengthened
its Tempo product line by introducing five new high-value, low-cost models
in the Tempo Standard line. The offerings start as low as $899 for a
386SX/25 computer, making it one of the most competitive systems on the
market.

Everex also announced four new aggressively priced bundled configurations
in its Tempo M and C Series. The Tempo Series gives value-conscious
business users the optimum mix of features, performance and service.

Tempo Standard

New Tempo Standard offerings include base and hard-drive configurations.
All systems will include DOS 5.0. The system configurations are based on
the following processors:

   386SX/25 486SX/25 486DX2/50
   386DX/33 486DX/33

"Our Tempo Standard products combine outstanding value with aggressive
pricing to ensure success in this extremely competitive market," said
Genelle Trader, vice president of marketing. "Our product assurance and
compatibility testing ensure the success of our customers' critical
applications in a client-server environment."

Tempo M and C Bundles

With the four bundled configurations, Everex, for the first time, is
offering the option of buying true "plug and play" systems. These bundles
are based on the company's upgradeable M and C Series computers, which
allow business users hassle-free computing at value-oriented prices.

Each of the bundles will include a hard drive, SVGA monitor, mouse, and
pre-loaded DOS 5.0 and Windows 3.1 application software.

"We felt there was a definite need in the corporate environment for smart
computer systems. Our plug and play systems eliminate such chores as
loading software and purchasing a hard drive," added Trader.

The four bundled system configurations are based on the following
processors:

    386SX/20 486SX/25
    386DX/25 486DX/33
    386DX/33

The four bundled systems are now available. The Tempo Standard systems will
be available in quantity in early July.

All the Tempo systems include a one-year parts and labor warranty, and
three-month on-site service contract.
