Major Enhancements to OnTime for Networks Group Scheduling Software Showing
at PC Expo

New York, NY, June 22, 1992 - OnTime for Networks (DOS and Windows
versions), developed by Campbell Services to be the easiest way to
schedule group meetings, is sporting several major enhancements which
increase the product's widely-applauded effectiveness and ease of use.

Two important enhancements in the new versions 1.2 (Windows) and 2.1 (DOS)
- RSVP and calendar reconciliation - have been in great demand by OnTime
for Network customers.

RSVP lets users respond to anyone who posts meeting requests to users'
schedules. RSVP also indicates if specific users have not yet read certain
meeting requests. Reconciliation allows remote PC users to quickly resolve
calendar differences that may occur when changes are made by others to
their LAN calendar while they are also making changes on their remote
PCs.

Two other new features make using OnTime for Networks easier and more
flexible. One is the ability to create defined groups of people on the
network with whom particular users meet regularly, such as Finance
Department, Sales Staff or Management Team. This is done by highlighting
the names of people in the group, then selecting the group naming feature.
The other feature simplifies the process of modifying meeting requests
that have already been sent.

A significant new Windows feature is support for any scale-able fonts built
into Windows, including Microsoft's True Type and Adobe's Type Manager. A
major enhancement for the DOS version is the ability to load OnTime as a
TSR in high memory (the RAM above the base 64OK RAM if the PC has 1
megabyte or more of available RAM).

The new and previous releases of the Windows network software are fully
compatible with Microsoft Windows 3.1. The incompatibility problem
reported in Microsoft's on-line help system pertains only to an early
version of the single user OnTime. This problem was corrected several
months ago, and all software shipped since then is fully Windows 3.1
compatible.

Besides showing new OnTime features at PC Expo, Campbell Services is
briefing their key customers about plans for a Wide Area Network (WAN)
group scheduler that runs across multiple file servers and under multiple
network operating systems. "We are launching a strategy to exploit
existing and future PC technology and enrich OnTime to the level of
unparalleled performance within our software category," states company
president Don Campbell.

The central point of this WAN solution is the OnTime Enterprise
Architecture. Though this feature is transparent to users, they will
benefit from the ability it gives them to send OnTime data to other PC
users, regardless of how these users are linked, or to which applications
this OnTime data will be sent. Campbell Services intends to have its
architecture running on Banyan, Novell and other WAN systems.

This architecture will support industry standard messaging Application
Programming Interfaces (APIs) as they become available, including those
from Microsoft, Lotus/IBM and Novell. Messaging APIs are the technology
which enable text, e-mail, video, graphics and voice to be sent from one
PC to another over LANs or modems. The company will also develop and
publish OnTime APIs for use by other developers.

"Our open architecture will incorporate a 'plug and play' approach so our
customers can have the freedom to choose what we call 'best of breed'
applications," comments Mr. Campbell. "They can invest in new technologies
which best meet their needs, including pen and palmtop computers, e-mail,
other leading edge workgroup applications and wireless pager systems, and
be assured that OnTime will work perfectly with these technologies."

The new versions of OnTime for Networks is scheduled to ship in August, and
product pricing will be finalized in July.
