BOTHELL, Wash. -- March 17, 1992 -- Traveling Software's OEM Division
announced today that LapLink Pro, the industry standard in file transfer,
is pre-loaded on the new Librex T386SX notebook computer.

Librex is the first OEM to include the new version of LapLink, LapLink Pro
4.0, on its 386SX notebook computers. LapLink Pro provides easy-to-use
cable and modem file transfer capabilities, remote installation, and
advanced disk management capabilities using either a mouse or keyboard.

LapLink Pro enables users to transfer files over serial or parallel cable,
or to a remote computer via modem. LapLink Pro, with its patented data
compression technology, offers significant speed advantages over other
remote file transfer solutions. With LapLink Pro's built-in intelligence,
users don't need to understand terms such as stop bits, parity, protocols
and other technical jargon to initiate remote file transfers.

LapLink Pro can also remote install itself over a modem or cable to a
receiving computer. This is beneficial to users who may not have LapLink
Pro installed on the remote PC. LapLink Pro also includes advanced disk
management capabilities such as the Synchronize command which makes files
in two directories identical.

LapLink Pro incorporates Traveling Software's Universal Communications
Object (UCO). UCO is a high performance data transport system that enables
two PCs to communicate regardless of the type of hardware connecting
them.

"As the leader in portable communications, Traveling Software continues to
provide breakthrough technology in the connectivity arena with LapLink
Pro. We are pleased to offer Librex T386SX notebook computer customers
this product," said Martin Brauns, vice president of marketing and general
manager of Librex Computer Systems, Inc.

The Librex T386SX is the industry's first fully user-configurable notebook
computer, that enables users to easily configure the memory, hard drive,
data transfer method and other options by sliding components into
available slots or ports.

"Essentially, the new Librex T386SX is the laptop equivalent of a component
stereo. It lets users select the drive of their choice, the RAM they need,
and more," said Mark Eppley, chairman and CEO of Traveling Software, Inc.

Librex Computer Systems, Inc. was incorporated in June 1990 as an
independent wholly-owned subsidiary of Nippon Steel Corporation to design,
manufacture and market innovative notebook computers and peripherals for
professional and personal use. The company is headquartered at 1731
Technology Drive, Suite 700, San Jose, CA 95110.

Traveling Software, the leader in portable communications, was founded in
