TOSHIBA FEATURES FULL LINE OF BUSINESS/PROFESSIONAL NOTEBOOKS AND ADVANCED
PORTABLES AT PC EXPO '92

NEW YORK -- June 23, 1992 -- Booth #3710 -- The Computer Systems Division
of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. (TAIS) is featuring its full
line of business and personal notebooks and advanced portable computers at
this year's PC Expo '92 tradeshow.  Product demonstrations will be
provided by the Toshiba marketing and sales team in booth #3710.

Product highlights include:

T4400SXC -- As Toshiba's premier color notebook, the T4400SXC features
thin-film-transistor LCD active matrix color technology in a 7.75-pound
package.   This product is well-suited for power users requiring
presentation capabilities, high speed graphics and high performance system
applications.  Standard features include a 25MHz 486SX processor with 8KB
RAM cache; 4MB RAM (expandable to 20MB); a choice of an 80MB or 120MB hard
disk drive; 256 simultaneous "Super VGA" colors at 640 x 480 resolution;
dedicated modem slot for optional 2400/9600 bps data/fax modem and a
dedicated credit card-style memory slot.  The suggested retail price for
the T4400SXC/80 is $5,499 and $5,799 for the T4400SXC/120.

T6400 Series -- This highly advanced portable computer line is a
well-equipped mobile platform for those who cannot leave anything at the
office.  Four models provide the customer a choice in processors, hard
drives, and display capabilities.  The  configurations for the T6400
include either a 33MHz 486DX with a 200MB hard disk drive or a 25MHz 486SX
120MB hard disk drive, both with a choice of a color TFT-LCD or gas plasma
screen.  Other standard features include 4MB RAM (expandable to 20MB),
dedicated slot for optional modem and one full-size 16-bit ISA expansion
slot.  Future enhancements include larger hard disk drives, internal
CD-ROM drives and internal DVI multimedia capabilities.  The
T6400SX/plasma retails for $4,849; the T6400SXC/color is $7,649; the
T6400DX/plasma sells for $5,999 and the T6400DXC/color is $8,799.

T3300SL --The T3300SL is a power notebook computer with superior battery
management capabilities for extended battery life.  Featuring a 25MHz
386SL processor and 64 RAM cache in a 5.9-pound package, the T3300SL is
ideal for customers who spend much time away from the office.  Other
standard features include 2MB RAM (expandable to 18MB), an 80MB or 120MB
hard disk drive, VGA-compatible, one-touch expansion with the Desk Station
IV, a PCMCIA 2.0-compatible slot for an optional data/fax modem, a
pocket-sized AC adapter and full-function 82-key keyboard.  The T3300SL/80
has a suggested retail price of $2,899 and the T3300SL/120 sells for
$3,199.

T4400SX -- As the predecessor of the T4400SXC, the T4400SX provides desktop
power into a notebook PC.  Standard configuration follows that of the
T4400SXC with the exception of the screen.  The T4400SX offers a 16 gray
scale gas plasma display panel or a fluorescent sidelit supertwist black
and white 64 gray scale LCD.  The T4400SX/80 LCD sells for $3,399; the
T4400SX/80 plasma retails for $3,699; the T4400SX/120 LCD is $3,699 and
the T4400SX/120 plasma is $3,999.

T2200SX -- The T2200SX continues as one of the best selling notebooks in
the marketplace, offering the lightest, full-function notebook available
in the Toshiba product line.  This 5.5-pound notebook is targeted for the
business and professional user demanding state-of-the-art features and the
performance of an SX notebook.  Standard configuration includes a 20MHz
386SX processor with an 80 hard disk drive, 2MB RAM (expandable to 18MB),
VGA-compatible LCD screen, full-sized 82-key keyboard, dedicated modem
slot and VGA monitor port.  The T2200SX/80 retails for $2,599.

Peripherals and Accessories -- To complement the portable computer line,
Toshiba will display a variety of peripheral products and accessories to
enhance the customer's productivity.  They include the Desk Station IV, a
desktop stationary host; the ExpressWriter 201, a portable computer;
credit card-style memory modules; battery packs and rechargers;
communications products; and carrying cases.

Product Support -- All Toshiba notebook and laptop computers are covered by
U.S. and International Limited Warranties.  The one-year limited warranty
includes parts and labor with no-cost Exceptional Care enrollment during
this period.  In addition, Toshiba offers on-line technical assistance
through its toll-free number, 1-800-999-4273, a bulletin board service and
dealer referrals for authorized service providers offering on- site
repairs.
