June 23, 1992 -- DEDHAM, MA -- Digital Vision, Inc. will announce two new
low cost computer/video products at PC EXPO New York. Introduced at PC
EXPO will be the new multimedia enhancements to the full-color
ComputerEyes/RT color frame grabber for IBM PC and compatible (or PS/2
Model 25/30/40) computers, and TelevEyes, a new economical VGA-to-TV video
converter.

The ComputerEyes/RT frame grabber is priced at $599.95 and is now shipping.
The VGA-to-TV converter is priced at just $299.95 and began shipping April
15th.

ComputerEyes/RT offers the industry's first economical means of capturing
professional-quality, real-world images on personal computers' graphics
displays in real time. High-resolution 640x480 24-bit color images can be
captured from any standard video source (VCR, video camera, etc.) in
1/30th of a second and displayed with the PC's standard VGA graphics
capabilities - no additional display hardware is required.

Announced at PC EXPO will be bundled software enhancements for
ComputerEyes/RT supporting the new HiColor display technology for superb
looking screen images, and a new CineMaker animation software allowing
capture and playback of video animations in several of the new multimedia
motion video formats. A new Windows version of ComputerEyes/RT will also
be announced and displayed at PC EXPO New York.

ComputerEyes/RT comes with friendly, menu-driven, user-oriented software to
capture, edit, and save images to disk. An optional Developers Software
Package is available for developers looking to add direct video capture
capabilities into their application.

TelevEyes is a hardware device (external module connected between the
computer's VGA output and the monitor) that outputs a NTSC composite video
image of whatever is on a VGA screen. It allows users to record their
computer displays on standard VCR video tape, or to view their
computer-created screens, presentations, animations, etc., directly on a
television monitor or composite video large-screen display. TelevEyes
supports computer display modes up to 640x480 and features simultaneous
computer and NTSC display, accurate NTSC color mapping, and full
resolution composite video output. At $299.95, TelevEyes is the lowest
priced recordable-video output device in its class.

Says company president, David Pratt, "Digital Vision has been concentrating
its efforts exclusively in computer-video products for over eight years
now, aiming its products at the wide base of users who have a need for
real-world computer imaging, but are on a budget. These new models now
bring the capabilities of the very high-end boards, costing thousands of
dollars, to the masses."
