CATDISK will allow you to maintain a catalog of contents of the various
disks in your collection.  Current archive formats supported include:

ARC: SeaWare (ARC), PKWare (PKARC,        ARJ: Robert K. Jung's ARJ utility
     PKPAK) and compatibles               DWC: Dean W. Cooper's DWC utility
HYP: HYPER utility from Germany           LBR: older utility for grouping files
LZH: Yoshi's LHARC/LHA utility                 together for upload/download
LZS: Japanese LARC utility                PAK: Nogate Consulting's PAK utility
ZIP: PKWare's PKZIP utility               ZOO: Rahul Dhesi's ZOO utility
GIF: can read resolution information     4DOS: directory file descriptions can
     into the comment field                    be read into the comment field.

Printed reports can be produced in a format such that you can print on both
sides of the page, making CATDISK the first environmentally friendly program in
in terms of its actual capabilities (as opposed to its packaging!).

If you have been using CATDISK V3.61 or later, please rename the executable
file (CATDISK.COM or CATDISK.EXE) to a temporary filename before continuing
with this extraction, as the configuration utility with this release (CDISKCFG)
will allow you to read in the previous configuration information contained in
the executable file.  See the file README.1ST for further details.
