Subject: pc-elm and uuPC
Summary: fix for rmail
Keywords: elm pc-elm uupc

If used with uuPC/extended one passes the message composed
with pc-elm to RMAIL.EXE via the token uucpcall in the file
PCELM.RC.

There is a bug in pc-elm 3.01 and 3.1b which adds on a blank
to the host name which messes up RMAIL's header. RMAIL will
send properly and the message will arrive most likely but
there are some sendmails that whine.

Until they fix the source one can change in PCELM.RC the line

uucpcall "rmail -f $ %"

into

uucpcall "rmail -f $ -t"

This causes rmail to read the adressee (which was expanded
from the % macro in the original line) from the headers of
the actual message, like sendmail does.

Works very well. (I found this while upgrading to uupc 1.11q but
it does also work with 1.11k from which I upgraded)

regards, el
