Rochester Hills, MI -- April 6, 1992 -- PostSaver Systems today announced
the release of BAR LITE, POSTNET barcoding software designed for customers
who wish to use their current accounting, database, and word processing
programs, yet wish to take advantage of the benefits of wide area
barcoding.

BAR LITE will barcode letters and envelopes printed from WordPerfect,
labels from dBase, Rbase, Paradox, invoices from Open Systems, etc. with
no change to their existing programs or data required. BAR LITE is a TSR
(terminate and stay resident) program that is loaded into your PC's memory
and runs invisibly in the background until you begin to print your
documents. BAR LITE then springs to life--scanning the document for valid
zipcodes and automatically printing USPS POSTNET barcodes--all without
exiting from your application program. BAR LITE will generate barcodes for
most dot matrix and laser printers, as well as special printers such as
Genicom 4400 series and Datatech DP-1185.

Standard BAR LITE features include:

* Automatic mode barcodes all Zipcodes
* Selective Automatic allows user to specify up to 5
specific Zipcodes to barcode. This allows user not to
barcode return addresses or some addresses on an invoice.
* Manual mode allows user to place the barcode anywhere but
require a special character in the data.
* Optional above or below the address block. Default is
  above.
* Optionally barcode 5 digit zipcodes.
* Select options via an easy to use menu with help or DOS
Command line or BAT files for experienced users.
* User selected configuration can be saved and re-loaded.
* Supports multiple printer .
* Select 10 or 12 CPI Pitch settings.

Benefits of barcoding include reduced postal rates, faster and more
accurate delivery of your mail. The USPS expects all business mail to be
barcoded by 1995.

PostSaver Systems released their first two products in 1991. PostSaver is a
full function mail management and barcoding system, and PostSaver Lite
provides mail printing and presort analysis for users maintaining there
lists in other databases.

PostSaver BAR LITE operates on any IBM PC, XT, AT, OR PS/2 or compatible
machine. A Windows version is planned for late summer '92.

PostSaver Systems, Inc. was founded in 1990 by Theodore L. Kruse, who
formerly founded Fox Research in 1983 -- a local area network manufacturer
that was later sold to Digital Communications Associates, Inc. as 10NET
Communications.

BAR LITE is available at a list price of $99.00 through Group 1 Software's
Dealer Network. Also, national distributors Software Resources and One
STOP Micro offer PostSaver products through their dealers. BAR LITE v1.0
began shipping in mid-February, and v1.1 began shipping March 23, 1992.
