Villa Park, IL. -- June 15, 1992 -- Fujikama USA, Inc., a supplier of
PC-compatible products for the U.S. market, has begun shipping an
upgradeable PC motherboard that utilizes an innovative pin-to-pin
CPU-socket architecture. The motherboard, which upgrades from 386DX-33 to
486DX2-66, is compatible with seven CPU configurations.

"The two primary advantages of Fujikama's 386DX-33/40 motherboard are
efficiency and flexibility," says Dennis Fung, general manager of Fujikama
USA. "Taking advantage of the board's upgradeability, our
reseller-customers can stock one motherboard for a variety of systems.

"At the same time, the motherboard's design eliminates the performance loss
that occurs with traditional upgradeable boards, in which CPU cards are
inserted in 16-bit expansion slots."

Fujikama USA is marketing the new motherboard to VARs, system integrators,
OEMs and other resellers.

Innovative Pin-to-Pin Architecture

Features: Pin-to-pin architecture allows CPUs to be interchanged directly
on the CPU's designated socket. This architecture eliminates the need to
use CPU cards for upgrading. Therefore, the board's architecture takes
advantage of the CPU's 32-bit data path, rather than an expansion slot's
16-bit bus. The result is increased PC performance.

Easy to Upgrade: The motherboard is compatible with the Intel 386DX-33,
AMD 386DXL33/40, Chips & Technology 38600DX/38605DX, Intel 486SX-20, Intel
486DX-33/50 and Intel 486DX2-50/66. An optional daughterboard, available
from Fujikama, is required to upgrade from 386 to 486. This daughterboard
attached directly onto the CPU socket.

The motherboard is also compatible with a variety of coprocessors,
including the Intel 80387, Weitek 3167, Cyrix FasMath and Chips &
Technology SuperMath.

Fujikama's 386DX-33/40 motherboard contains American Megatrends Inc. (AMI)
BIOS and a CONTAQl (82C591) / CONTAQ2 (82C5982) chip set. In addition, the
motherboard contains an 82C206 Integrated Peripherals Controller providing
16 levels of system interrupt.

It is manufactured with surface-mount technology for compactness and
minimal vibration.

Flexible Memory, Cache Configurations

Fujikama's new motherboard features eight SIMM sockets that support 256K,
1MB and 4MB SIMM modules. Memory can be configured to 1MB, 2MB, 4MB, 5MB,
8MB, 16MB, 20MB or 32MB.

In addition, the motherboard features external cache configurations of 64KB
or 256KB with direct-map and write-back caching algorithm.

Expansion Slots: The ISA-based 386DX-33/40 motherboard features eight
expansion slots, consisting of six 16-bit and two 8-bit.

Compatibility: The motherboard is fully compatible with MS-DOS, OS/2,
Unix, Novell Netware, Windows and many other advanced applications. It
supports LIM-EMS 4.0.

Fujikama's motherboard is manufactured to comply with FCC Class B, CSA and
UL certifications for safe, comfortable use.

Dimensions: The baby AT-sized motherboard is 11.0-inches x 8.9-inches
(28.0cm x 22.5cm), providing easy installation into most desktop and
vertical cases.

Warranty & Support: Fujikama provides a 13-month warranty on the
motherboard. Free, full-time technical support is available from 8:30am -
5:00pm CMT by calling 708/832-1166.
