MORGAN HILL CA--June 23, 1992 -- A new release of Flow Charting 3, version
2.10, will be shown at the Patton & Patton Booth, number 4187, at P.C.
Expo in New York City. The upgrade is Local Area Network (LAN) compatible,
with numerous enhancements for both stand-alone or network use. Flow
Charting 3 has been on major distributors' best selling lists for over a
year. The $250 (U.S.) program for IBM PC's and compatibles is used by
managers, engineers, auditors, human resource personnel, systems analysts,
and attorneys to speed the creation and updating of flowcharts and other
diagrams.

Flow Charting 3 version 2.10 permits work groups to log in under a project
name and default settings will automatically be in place as originally
specified by the group. Templates may be created for easy sharing and
consistent chart presentation. Network administrators can generate usage
reports on the number of people who unsuccessfully attempted to log on,
peak usage times, and actual number of users. Built-in metering software
automatically controls the number of people who can concurrently use the
program.

Other Enhancements include:

-File Locking. Whenever a file is opened, it can be shared with other users
simultaneously, but only the person who opened the file originally can
save it.

--External Configuration File. Default settings and configuration my be
established by individual users

--Chart File Back Ups. This creates a back-up file, whenever the chart is
modified and saved, in the same drive and directory as the original
chart.

-Autosave. A temporary file that saves work in progress in the event of a
power loss.

--Improved Memory Usage. This new version saves approximately 70k when you
invoke the DOS Shell.

--Mouse Flexibility. Specify right or left handed setting.

--Default Charts. Default settings for the chart style and orientation may
be established for most frequently used charts.

--Improved Configuration. Configuration instructions have been separated
into two areas: basic and advanced. Basic contains information on setting
the printer model, port and paper. Advanced contains Mouse, Panning,
Printer Testing, Default Chart Style and Orientation, Chart Back-ups,
Autosave and Screen Colors for both text and graphics.

The single user version can be used as a stand-alone or on a LAN and
retails for $250. Five packs are also available for $1,250.
