                                COPYING TEXT
                                ============

              This feature allows you to copy and set aside
              portions of files - or entire files! It is
              especially useful for collecting small bits of
              information from different parts of a hypertext
              network into one place. The information gathered
              can be later inserted into the text of a paper,
              report, or other project, or put into a database or
              spreadsheet, etc.

              STEPS
              =====

              1) Press either the "+" or "-" keys <FILE022 2 4>.
              A "highlight bar" appears. Continue pressing either
              the "+" or "-" key until you reach the first line
              of the text that you want to copy.

              2) Press the F5 key to turn on the block mark
              highlight. Use arrow keys or other screen movement
              keys <FILE021> to highlight as much of the text as
              you want to copy.

              3) When done with step #2 above, you will notice
              that the bottom line of the screen gives you the
              choice to append ("A") or to overwrite ("O") the
              clip.txt file. Hence, press either "O" or "A" to
              copy what you block marked. The marked text will go
              to the "Clipboard" file called: CLIP.TXT.

              4) You can now use the DOS copy command to copy the
              clip.txt file of the items you copied to another
              file or file name. You can load the file into a
              word processor, spreadsheet program, or database
              program. <FILE02F 1 18 DOS MODE>

              5) To see what you have in this file, access it
              here: <CLIP.TXT> You can always access this file
              from the help screen by pressing the [F1] key also.

              -- See <FILE030> for making "bookmarks" to files.
