CE Software Ships Cross-Platform QuickMail MHS

West Des Moines, IA, June 28, 1993 - CE SOFTWARE HOLDINGS, INC. (NASDAQ/NMS
Symbol:CESH) today announced the North American release of QuickMail MHS.
QuickMail MHS delivers Windows and Macintosh messaging clients native to
Novell's Message Handling Service (NetWare MHS) transport. Today's
shipment results from CE's commitment to provide NetWare native messaging
solutions through Novell's NetWare Global MHS.

QuickMail MHS users will benefit from the graphical user interface allowing
users to easily create custom address books, send mail to groups of users
and file mail on their local hard drive or network server. Users can also
store custom address books locally or on a server. Address books are
easily synchronized with the MHS directory to ensure proper message
handling. QuickMail MHS provides users with ability to attach over 60
files to a single message.

QuickMail MHS provides a utility for administrators to set and modify
directory privileges and monitor mail usage. The administrator can easily
add and delete users and modify user preferences. QuickMail MHS, which
supports Novell's Standard Messaging Format (SMF), can also leverage
Global MHS multi-protocol messaging services for SMTP, SNADS, and x.400,
as well as a wide variety of third-party MHS gateways running on NetWare.

"QuickMail MHS and NetWare Global MHS provide users tight NetWare
integration without compromising the quality of e-mail applications or the
desktop platforms supported," said Rick Bohdanowicz, director of marketing
for Novell's Messaging Products Division. "Administrators receive the
time-saving benefits of the tight NetWare integration in Global MHS while
users receive the benefits of the graphical user interface from the
leading Macintosh mail provider."

"Our NetWare users have been requesting a more integrated implementation of
mail with NetWare MHS. QuickMail MHS expands the impact of our
cross-platform interface standard by natively supporting NetWare MHS,"
said Ford Goodman, president, CE Software, Inc. "This is consistent with
our commitment to meet existing customer needs through continued support
and enhancement of the QuickMail transport while adding functionality and
openness to our mail and messaging clients on all commercially viable,
open mail transports. We are the only company with a proprietary mail
transport that actively supports transports from network operating system
companies, and we are committed to supporting Novell's messaging vision."

QuickMail MHS will be available through Novell Authorized Resellers and
through CE's domestic and international distribution channels. QuickMail
MHS will be available in multi-user packages. The U.S. suggested retail
prices are $599 for 10 users, $1,399 for 25 users and $4,499 for 100
users.
