introduced its line of NET-UPS, Network-Ready UPSes designed to provide
dependable and ready to use network power backup and management solutions
in Novell or UNIX environments. Each NSSI NET-UPS gives system
administrators everything they need to set up a complete network power
system:

intelligent uninterruptible power supply (IPS/A.I. 450VA, 600VA, 800VA or
1200VA), RS-232 serial cable for bi-directional communication across the
network, and award-winning network power management software (LanSafe II)
-- all at a reduced price.

If a prolonged power outage occurs, the system will begin an orderly
shutdown of the Novell or UNIX network, guaranteeing data integrity and
the ability to quickly restore the system when power returns. Automatic
daily hardware self-testing and software-controlled battery preventative
maintenance procedures provide increased system life and reliability.
