QUICK DOC NOW AVAILABLE FOR BORLAND'S PARADOX 4.0
Documentation Program Identifies Optimization Alternatives

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ -- May 1, 1993 -- Computer Program, Inc. (CPI) today
announced QUICK DOC version 1.0, an exceptional new program designed to
quickly document systems and identify alternate table structures to
optimize applications created with Borland's Paradox 4.0.

Paradox 4.0 sets new standards for DOS-based relational database management
systems. With a windows-like user interface, tremendous power and
performance gains, enhanced network performance and expanded Paradox
Application Language, PAL, Paradox is ideal for a wide range of users. It
includes the industry-standard Query By Example (QBE) for fast interactive
database querying. Paradox can also store and retrieve Binary Large
Objects (BLObs) in memo fields. BLObs can contain any type of binary data
including graphics, sound and multimedia files.

QUICK DOC gives recommendations for optimizing an application as soon as
the tables are created. It automatically flags tables that can be
optimized by slightly modifying the table's record length. Optimized
tables result in much more efficient use of space and faster processing of
queries and reports.

"With QUICK DOC I didn't have to wait until after system development to
identify inefficiencies I was able to restructure my tables and rethink my
logic before too much time went by in development," said Michelle Douglas,
Programmer at Computer Programs, Inc.

"We're very pleased that QUICK DOC has been updated for use with Paradox
4.0," said Daniel Klaussen, Paradox DOS product manager for Borland
International. "The performance enhancements we've made, combined with
QUICK DOC's table optimizing features, will help Paradox developers create
a new generation of fast, efficient applications."

After development, QUICK DOC documents applications for ongoing support.
Documenting tables with associated reports and forms gives an overall view
of the application and the interaction of table information. Space
requirements provide an estimate of the amount of disk space needed for an
application.

QUICK DOC has been written using PAL and runs in Paradox 4.0 Runtime. QUICK
DOC also documents applications written in older versions of Paradox.

QUICK DOC is available immediately from Computer Programs, Inc. at an
