COPIA'S ACCSYS FOR PARADOX SUPPORTS BORLAND'S PARADOX 4.0

WHEATON, IL - May 16, 1993 - Copia International today announced a new
release of AccSys for Paradox that provides full support for Borland's
Paradox 4.0.

With AccSys for Paradox, C, QuickBASlC and Visual Basic (Windows and DOS)
programmers can create, read, write and upgrade Paradox tiles without
having to concern themselves with the Paradox Internal file formats.
AccSys for Paradox comes network ready and supports all memory models of
the popular compilers. AccSys for Paradox is so dependant that it was
chosen to be part of Microsoft Access and Lotus 1-2-3.

AccSys for Paradox' unique design makes our performance noticeably smaller
and taster than other libraries. By utilizing various DOS Extenders with
AccSys for Paradox, the size of your application can be expanded to 10
times the typical application size. AccSys for Paradox is available with
optional Source Code to allow for program environment and multi platform
customization. Windows (DLL & Library) also comes with AccSys for
Paradox.

Paradox 4.0 sets new standards for DOS-based relational database management
systems. With a windows-like user interface, tremendous power and
performance gains, enhanced network performance and expanded Paradox
Application Language, PAL, Paradox is ideal for a wide range of users. It
includes the industry-standard Query By Example (QBE) for fast interactive
database querying. Paradox can also store and retrieve Binary Large
Objects (BLObs) in memo fields. BLObs can contain any type of binary data
including graphics, sound and multimedia tiles.

For current users of AccSys for Paradox, the upgrade price for this new
release is $119 For the basic product (which comes complete With network
capabilities) the price is $395. The product with Source can be purchased
for $995.

Paradox 4.0, available from Borland, has a suggested retail price of $795.
The Paradox 4.0 LAN Pack, which adds one additional user to the network,
retails for $199.95. All suggested retail prices are in U.S. dollars and
apply to the United States and Canada
