Microsoft Windows 3.1 Available in Czech, Hungarian, Polish; Cyrillic
Supported

MUNICH--April 27, 1993--Microsoft Windows version 3.1, the world's most
popular graphical operating system, is now fully localized for users in
Hungary, Poland, and the Czech and Slovak republics. With Windows 3.1 and
TrueType font technology now available in Czech, Hungarian and Polish,
users can create multilingual documents using Western European, Eastern
European and Cyrillic characters all in one document.

For example, a translation agency can easily create documents with Czech,
French and Russian characters. In all, the Czech, Hungarian and Polish
versions of Windows support more than 25 languages in Windows-based
applications that support TrueType technology.

Users of Windows in Eastern Europe can expect several other localized
products, such as Microsoft Works for Windows, Microsoft Word for Windows
and Microsoft Excel, scheduled for release in the second and third
quarters of 1993.
