CHICAGO, Illinois-June 3, 1993--Accolade, a leading publisher of sports
simulations for computer and video game systems, today introduced Brett
Hull Hockey for the Super Nintendo. Brett Hull Hockey represents the
company's first ice hockey simulation in one of the fastest growing
spectator and recreational sports in the country. The product is scheduled
to release in September for the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo video game
systems at a suggested retail price of $69.95. A version for IBM PC and
compatible computers is scheduled to release during the second quarter of
1994.

Brett Hull Hockey brings Brett's tough, high-scoring style of playing
hockey together with his philosophy about the game which is, "it has to be
fun or it's not worth playing." Several modes of play are offered
including exhibition game, 11 game short season, 42 game half season and
an 84 game full season that no other computer or video game provides. It
also includes the playoffs and a partial All Star skills competition.

To create a realistic hockey environment, Radical Entertainment, the
designers of Brett Hull Hockey and die-hard fans of the sport, videotaped
skaters, including Brett Hull himself, playing hockey and digitized them
for the product. Based on input from Brett Hull himself, the game includes
a "behind the player" perspective, full instant replay, the ability to
turn on and off penalties, authentic organ music and sound effects such as
the noise of the skates carving the ice, the ability to select and change
line settings, a fighting sequence for players ranked as aggressive, and
the ability to allocate playing attributes to teams.

"I'm very excited to be personally involved with this new and exciting
hockey game," commented Brett Hull. "I'm impressed that Accolade was able
to incorporate some of my ideas into the game, and that it's important to
them that I'm involved."

To take full advantage of the capabilities of the Super Nintendo, Brett
Hull Hockey will make use of Mode 7 which offers scaling and rotation
abilities. The Sega Genesis version will include a save game battery
backup and the Super Nintendo version will include a password feature.

Brett Hull Hockey will also feature complete play-by-play commentary by
Emmy award-winning sportscaster, Al Michaels. He garnered his first
"Sportscaster of the Year" award in 1980, the same year he made his
memorable calling of the U.S.A. hockey team's dramatically successful
quest for the gold medal in the Winter Olympics at Lake Placid. He went on
to cover hockey during the 1984 Winter Games in Sarajevo and during the
1988 Calgary Winter Olympics.

Brett Hull, right winger for the St. Louis Blues, is one of the NHL's
greatest goal scorers in NHL history, and is one of the most marketable
stars since Wayne Gretzky. He is the son of the legendary Hall-of-Famer,
Bobby Hull, whose reign in the 60's and 70's earned him the reputation as
one of the best all-around hockey players in history. A super star on his
own, Brett Hull was named the NHL's Most Valuable Player in 1990-91 for
achieving 86 goals in 78 games and was twice voted the NHL's Most Popular
All-Star Player in fan balloting. Brett Hull joined the ranks of Wayne
Gretzky and Mario Lemieux when he became a member of the NHL's "50/49
Club" for scoring 50 goals in 49 games. He is also a member of the NHL's
"80 Goal Club" joining other hockey greats, Wayne Gretzky and Mario
Lemieux.
