ATTIC SIGNS WITH SIR-TECH

Las Vegas, Nevada -- January 7, 1993 -- A new fantasy role-playing series
will soon be released by Sir-tech, a company known for leading edge
computer simulations. At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas,
Norman Sirotek, President of Sir-tech, and Guido Henkel, Managing Director
of Attic Entertainment Software, announced Sir-tech is to exclusively
translate, market, and distribute several different software products
throughout a number of countries including the United States, Canada,
Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and other Pacific-rim
countries.

The first title, "Blade of Destiny", is based on Germany's most successful
role-playing series called "Das Schwarze Auge", to be known as "Realms of
Arkania" in English speaking countries. Developed for the computer by
Attic in close cooperation with the original authors of the popular pencil
and paper edition, Fantasy Productions, "Blade of Destiny" will be the
first in the "Realms of Arkania" adventure series.

"Blade of Destiny" shall be available to consumers in March 1993 for MS-DOS
and Amiga computers featuring stunning 256 color VGA graphics for DOS
machines, and, for both systems, point & click interface. Realms of
Arkania also features an impressive soundtrack which does a great job
creating atmosphere.

Norman Sirotek said "'Realms of Arkania' is a perfect complement to
Sir-tech's famous Wizardry line. While Wizardry provides computer
entertainment designed with sophisticated plots and puzzles, 'Realms of
Arkania' has a less intensive playing feel to it. This will undoubtedly
embrace players looking for a more casual entertainment experience".

Das Schwarze Auge - Background

"Das Schwarze Auge" is the most successful paper and pencil publication of
its kind on the German speaking market. "Das Schwarze Auge" outsells
"Dungeons and Dragons" and "Advanced Dungeons and Dragons" games by a
factor of 4 to 1 in Germany.

Fantasy Productions created "Das Schwarze Auge" and licensed the large
German based company Schmidt Spiele to sell the game in Germany.

Since "Das Schwarze Auge" was first released in 1984, more than a dozen
board games have been published, thus continually enlarging and detailing
the game rules and background world of "Realms of Arkania". Some 70
adventures and gaming aids were released in this time span and the game
now boasts a loyal following of over 2 million fans.

Earlier this year, agreements with US based Mattel, and UK based
Waddingtons will bring the board game to English speaking countries under
the name "Dark World".

The enormously successful paper and pencil "Das Schwarze Auge" has spawned
into a faithfully adapted computer series. Developed and sold in Germany
by Attic, it is now Germany's #1 computer role-playing simulation. US Gold
will soon market and distribute to other parts of Europe, with Sir-tech
handling North America and other countries aforementioned in this
release.

Attic's Guido Henkel commented, "Sir-tech has enormous experience with
'Realms of Arkania' types of simulations. With over 4 million units of the
'Wizandry' computer simulation in worldwide circulation, we know Sir-tech
has the ability and market know-how to represent and service 'Realms of
Arkania' in North America".

Norman Sirotek added, "The success of the 'Das Schwarze Auge' series is
impressive by anyones standards. To be selected to represent Attic with
such distinguished products under their belt is an honor. We are proud to
be associated with all of the fine companies connected with 'Realms of
Arkania' and to be able to bring to our customers an exceptional
entertainment value."
