CHICAGO, Illinois-June 3, 1993--Accolade, a leading publisher of sports
simulations, today announced plans to release Mike Ditka Ultimate Football
II for IBM PC and compatible computers. This high impact and graphically
intensive football game will build on the features that made the 1991
release of Mike Ditka Ultimate Football a huge success. The company today
also announced plans to release a new football game for the Sega Genesis.
This yet unnamed product, will be a tough-action football game combining
both simulation and arcade sensationalism. Both products will feature
extra-large digitized/rotoscoped animated player graphics displayed in a
perspective view. They are both scheduled to release during the fourth
quarter of this year.

Mike Ditka Ultimate Football II will feature 256 color Super VGA graphics
(640 x 400 or 320 x 200). The 3D polygon stadium, scaling player graphics
and aggressive style football, including realistic tackle animations, are
Just a few of the new features of this product. Many of the popular
features from the first Ditka game will be incorporated including,
changeable camera angles, team construction, play editor, and the ability
to import and export teams from all 28 NFL cities. Players can compete in
an exhibition game, or form their own league and play a complete season
with the ultimate goal of reaching the prized championship playoffs.

Mike Ditka Ultimate Football II will also include a Logo Editor enabling
computer coaches to change the name, number and vital characteristics of
each player, as well as instantly set the colors for the home and visiting
uniforms of each team. For computer coaches whose forte is play design,
Mike Ditka Ultimate Football II will offer an extensive Playbook and Play
Designer Editor in which players can unleash their imagination and create
unlimited offensive and defensive plays to fit their personal game plan. A
variety of pre-designed plays will also be included in the product.

ABC "Monday Night Football" and Emmy award-winning sportscaster Al
Michaels, will call the play-by-play commentary. Michaels' recognizable
voice can also be heard in Accolade's popular HardBall III and soon in
Brett Hull Hockey.
