Innovative Integration is pleased to announce the two newest additions to
the Supercontroller Series of high performance computers; The PC31 which
uses the Texas Instruments TMS320C31 microprocessor and the SBC25 which
employs the Texas Instruments TMS320C25 microprocessor. Both are available
with "C" or FORTH-based development environments to a provide complete,
integrated solutions to the development and implementation of real-time
applications.

Optimized for the execution of digital signal processing algorithms, the TI
TMS320C25 processor employs a modified Harvard architecture and executes
at a sustained rate of 12 MIPS. The processor provides an on-chip 16-bit
timer, a 32-bit multiplier/accumulator, three prioritized interrupts, ROM,
SRAM and a synchronous 2 MBaud serial port.

To cost effectively address the most demanding DSP applications, the PC31
utilizes the TMS320C31 32-bit processor which directly addresses memory to
16MWords and provides onchip floating point hardware capable of sustained,
17 MIPS/33 MFLOPS performance.

Each of the Supercontroller CPUs is tightly integrated with a comprehensive
array of on-board peripherals including serial, parallel digital and
analog I/O and a broad range of memory and external peripheral
configuration options. Additionally, each provides a prioritized interrupt
controller, counter/timers, a watchdog timer, programmable wait state
generation, optional battery-backed data storage and much more.

Innovative Integrations own II-C or II-Forth, available for each
Supercontroller CPU, support an extensible, interactive software
development environment. Targeted specifically for high-speed
applications, each environment provides zero-overhead interrupts,
extensive single and double precision and floatingpoint math libraries,
source code management tools and the most complete compiler available for
the processor. Communication with each CPU is supported via a high-speed
hardware link to an IBM PC/AT (or compatible) which provides graphic
terminal emulation and disk support.

Innovative Integration supercontroller products have been successfully
utilized in many, diverse fields including embedded instrumentation,
drinking water environmental analysis, automated food processing, star and
satellite tracking and a broad range of signal processing and factory
control applications.

Introducing the PC31...

The PC31 is a very high performance, IBM PC plug-in coprocessor featuring
the Texas Instruments TMS320C31 DSP processor. The PC31 Is ideally suited
for tasks such as demanding digital signal processing, real time control,
video and audio signal manipulation and other computationally Intensive
data acquisition/reduction tasks. Use the PC31 to collect and analyze high
speed analog signals for data collectors or generate servo controls with
analog or digital outputs.

The TMS320C31 DSP processor meets all of the requirements for high-speed,
realtime applications: 17 MIPS/33MFLOPS of processing power, hardware
floating point multiplier/accumulator, DMA controller, onchip synchronous
serial port, 15 prioritized interrupts and much more. The C31 has special
hardware support for real-time filters and control algorithms

Interactive Development..

Software is interactively developed and tested using the optimizing 100%
ANSI-compatible C compiler or incremental FORTH compiler. Applications are
quickly developed and tested using the comprehensive integer and floating
point math, analog/digital l/O and video display libraries provided with
the Developers Package. All system and application procedures may
conveniently be interactively edited, tested and executed at full machine
speed. No more reduced speed emulation!

The board serves as its own complete development system using the system
monitor (resident in PROM) in combination with the editor, compiler and
all other essential software tools supplied in the Developers Package.
Once an application has been created, it may be embedded in PROM for
standalone operation or downloaded to the board from within application
software running on the host IBM PC.

The PC31 communicates with an IBM PC/AT, or equivalent, via a high-speed
dual port memory arrangement which allows access to all PC31 memory and
peripherals from the IBM PC.

Highly Configurable...

The PC31 may be integrated with l.l.s memory expansion board to address
large data gathering applications or our audio l/O card to address
high-fidelity audio applications. Interfacing with external peripherals is
accomplished via the 10-pin serial, 37 pin analog, 50 pin digital, 26 pin
digital or 108 pin expansion connectors. Additionally, the PC31 is
compatible with the full line of DSP-LINK analog and digital l/O cards.
Inexpensive, slower memories are accommodated using wait states and any of
the on-board peripheral ICs may be deleted to reduce cost in OEM
applications. The PC31 can be configured to fit your specific requirements
and provide an optimal mix of performance, cost and features.
