Digital Soup is now shipping new voice recognition software for Windows
3.1

April 23, 1993 -- BRATTLEBORO, VERMONT -- Digital Soup, Inc., announces new
voice recognition software for Windows 3.1. Rover works with most popular
sound boards, including Creative Labs' Sound Blaster and Media Vision's
Pro Audio Rover gives you voice control of your Windows applications. You
can "train" your computer to execute commands that normally require typing
or mouse operations.

Rover comes with a fifty-word command dictionary so that you can get
started right away. You "train" Rover to understand your particular
pronunciation of the commands in the dictionary.

You can customize the dictionary or create new dictionaries, adding your
own commands.

Voice-commands can be application-sensitive. Rover can carry out a command
differently, depending on the application you are in.

Free utilities packaged with Rover include a frequency and level meter and
a program launcher.

Retailing for $129, Rover's introductory price is only $49.

Digital Soup's Rover requires a 386- or 486-based CPU, Windows 3.1, a
pointing device, a sound board and a microphone.
