Knowledge Adventure Introduces The Tale of Peter Rabbit
Talking Storybook

Talking Storybook Transforms World's Favorite Children's Book into a
Reading Adventure

LA CRESCENTA, CA., March 22, 1993 -- Knowledge Adventure, Inc., today
introduced The Tale of Peter Rabbit Talking Storybook, an interactive
reading adventure of Beatrix Potter's classic. Originally published in
1902, this is the first time that The Tale of Peter Rabbit has been
transformed into a talking storybook for use on any IBM and compatible
personal computer without requiring the use of a CD-ROM.

The Tale of Peter Rabbit Talking Storybook reads aloud the complete text of
this classic tale. Using the point and click interface, children as young
as 2 years old are encouraged to explore the various elements in the
illustrations and enjoy the sound effects associated with the story
elements. Accompanied by an original score in stereo MIDI (Musical
Instrument Digital Interface) sound, this talking storybook features
exquisite original watercolor illustrations displayed in 256-color VGA by
the award-winning children's book Illustrator, Lonni Sue Johnson.

"We have designed our talking storybooks to make learning to read an
adventure for children," said Bill Gross, president and CEO of Knowledge
Adventure, Inc. "Tapping into the power of the personal computer, this
talking storybook brings new dimensions to this classic with its
animation, sound effects and reading dynamics. Other talking storybooks
traditionally require the storage capacity of a CD-ROM; however, with our
proprietary compression technology, we are able to provide the complete
text of this classic with animation and sound on just two floppy diskettes
for use on standard personal computers."

The Tale of Peter Rabbit Talking Storybook has a suggested retail price of
$24.95 This Talking Storybook is available to consumers at major software
stores, mass merchants, software catalogs and direct marketing
organizations. Upon returning their registration card, registered users
will receive a free "Jr. Gardening Kit" from Knowledge Adventure. This kit
includes carrot, lettuce and radish seed packets for planting their own
garden.
