March User Symposium To Bring National Instruments Customers Together to
Share Ideas and Future Goals

January 29, 1993 - Austin, TX - National Instruments announced today its
1993 User Symposium scheduled for March 28-30 at the Marriott At The
Capitol hotel in Austin, TX. The company expects over 200 attendees at the
User Symposium, which is designed to bring its customers together to share
ideas, relate success stories, and learn about the future direction of the
company. The symposium will feature fundamental and advanced technical
sessions, as well as special sessions on the company's software and
hardware instrumentation products, a "Crosstalk" panel session, and a User
Fair.

The keynote speaker for the User Symposium will be Tom G. Whiteside, IBM
manager for Somerset, the PowerPC RISC microprocessor design alliance with
Motorola. Tom has been with IBM since 1982, and worked in both the RT
Processor and RT Hardware Architecture areas prior to assuming
responsibility for the RT processor chip area in 1984.

Attendees can mix and match tutorials from four technical sessions to meet
their special application needs -Technical Fundamentals, Advanced
Techniques, Advanced LabVIEW, and Advanced LabWindows. A panel discussion,
"Crosstalk," will give attendees the opportunity to ask questions about
products and the future direction of the company. The symposium will
conclude with a User Fair, featuring the Software Shootout, with an
opportunity for attendees to test their software skills, and a Test Drive
Center where attendees can try out new prerelease products. Attendees can
also evaluate third-party products from the company's Alliance Program
members, who will have exhibits set up during the symposium.

Pricing, Registration, and More Information 

Registration for the User Symposium is $395 before March 1, and $450
thereafter. The registration fee includes admission to all sessions and
exhibits, a copy of the conference proceedings, lunches, and the Monday
night dinner.
