NETWORLD BOASTS SCORES OF NEW PRODUCTS, AND SOLID ATTENDANCE DESPITE WINTER
WEATHER; SHOW RETURNS AS NETWORKS EXPO IN 1994

(Fort Lee, NJ, Jan. 27) -- NetWorld 93 Boston showcased scores of new
product introductions from 365 exhibitors, and attracted 30,663 attendees,
despite snowstorms in the Boston area. The show, produced by Bruno
Blenheim Inc., took place Jan. 12-14, at the Hynes Convention Center and
the adjacent Sheraton Boston Hotel.

The event affirmed its importance as the premier Northeast show to reach
corporate and reseller executives who make volume purchasing decisions of
computer networking technology. It will keep its focus in 1994, but return
under its new name, Networks Expo 94(TM). Next year, the show is scheduled
for February 15-17, and will return to the Hynes Center.

Scores of companies made announcements of new products, services and
strategic alliances for the networking and interoperability sector of the
computer industry. Exhibitors making announcements included: 3Com,
Artisoft, Banyan, Cabletron, Core International, Digital Equipment Corp.,
Emerald Systems, Frye Computer Systems, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Intel,
Lotus, Microsoft, Novell, Proteon, SMC, Ungermann-Bass and WordPerfect
Corporation.

Exhibitors at Blenheim's Boston show contracted for 70 percent of the
exhibit space for next year under the new name - Networks Expo.

The state-of-the-art show network at the show, ShowNet, was a success
offering more than 1,900 users with online access to complete exhibitor,
product and conference information. ShowNet also provided attendees with
electronic mailboxes, and communication links to other attendees and the
outside world through MCI Mail.

Elaine Bond, Chase Fellow and senior technology consultant at Chase
Manahattan Bank delivered the keynote address, entitled, "Users Are Riding
the Waves of the Technology Push, But . . . Are We Having Fun Yet?" on
Jan. 12, at the Marriott Copley Hotel. Ms. Bond is also chairman, and
founder of OURS (Open User Recommended Systems), an organization of users
working with companies on multi-vendor computing.

The keynote opened both the exhibit and conference portions of the show.
The seminar series featured more than 80 sessions, running concurrently
with the show. The conference program also included nine tutorials, on
Jan. 11.

Adam Torres, group vice president of Bruno Blenheim, said that the large
attendee turnout and the number of exhibitors who have contracted for
exhibit space, indicates the overwhelming support for the Boston show in
the Northeast marketplace. The Northeast technology corridor is the second
largest region in the U.S., as measured by purchasing power -- according
to a major newspaper.

"There will be only one event -- Networks Expo(TM) -- where manufacturers
of the entire spectrum of computer networking hardware, software and
services can reach the largest possible Northeast audience with its huge
buying power," said Mr. Torres.

The next Bruno Blenheim networking show, NetWorld 93 Dallas, will take
place Oct. 5-7, 1993, at the Dallas Convention Center and feature more
than 500 exhibitors. Blenheim will also produce NetWorld Europe scheduled
for May 25-27, 1993 at the Frankfurt Messe in Frankfurt, Germany.

Bruno Blenheim Inc., is a part of Blenheim Group PLC, the world's largest
international producer of conferences and exhibitions with more than 250
events. In addition to Networks Expo 94 and NetWorld, Blenheim also
produces other computer technology shows in the U.S., including PC EXPO in
New York, PC EXPO in Chicago and UNIX EXPO, in addition to more than 25
others in Europe.
