IOMEGA OFFERS NEW 150MB INTERNAL BERNOULLI DRIVE FOR MACINTOSH IIvx,
PERFORMA 600 AND CENTRIS 650

ROY, Utah, February 9, 1993.--With the recent introduction of its new
Bernoulli MacInsider MultiDisk 150 internal drive, Iomega Corporation now
offers an expanded family of removable mass storage products to complement
Apple Computer, Inc.'s product line. The new internal Bernoulli drive is
designed to fit inside the new Apple Macintosh Centris 650 computer, which
is being announced today as well. In addition, the new Bernoulli
MacInsider drive is designed for use with the Performa 600 and Macintosh
IIvx, which Apple introduced last fall. All of these Macintosh models
feature half-height, 51/4-inch removable storage drive bays, in which
users can install the Bernoulli MacInsider MultiDisk drive. Iomega already
offers a 150MB internal drive for the Macintosh Quadra 900 and 950.

The Bernoulli MacInsider MultiDisk drive comes with everything end users
need to get up and running. Included in the package is the internal drive,
mounting rails and bezel, Iomega driver software and a 150MB shareware
disk. Effective access time for the new drive is 18ms. The sustained
transfer rate is 13.33Mbits per second.

"Iomega is pleased to offer an internal Bernoulli drive for the newest
Apple personal computer. As business users increase their employment of
multimedia, QuickTime, graphic and desktop publishing applications, their
storage needs will accelerate dramatically ' said Mike Joseph, vice
president of marketing for Iomega. "Macintosh users will now enjoy
removable mass storage at the capacity of magneto-optical drives, with
hard drive performance--but with the unique benefits of Bernoulli
Technology. In terms of capacity, the Bernoulli MacInsider MultiDisk is
the largest internal removable disk drive available for Macintosh host
systems today."

The unique new benefit end users will enjoy with the new Bernoulli
MacInsider is its MultiDisk feature--the ability to read and write disks
of various capacities: 35MB, 65MB, 105MB and 150MB. The drive is downward
compatible with existing Bernoulli products: it reads, writes and formats
Bernoulli 90MB disks and reads Bernoulli 44MB disks.

"The MacInsider's ability to read and write 90MB disks and to read 44MB
disks protects a user's investment in Bernoulli Technology," said Steve
Wise, Apple product marketing manager for Iomega. "Users will also enjoy
the same ruggedness and reliability that Bernoulli is famous for.

"The MultiDisk capacity gives end users greater flexibility: they can use
different sized disks for different jobs. For example, users may utilize
the 150MB disk to make a bootable backup of their main hard drive and for
capturing content for large multimedia projects. At a lower cost, they can
use the 35MB disk to transport files to service bureaus and clients."

Business users will find the Bernoulli drive useful for archiving and
distribution as well. Because the drive is a random access device, back-up
and retrieval from archives are simple. It also means copying disks for
distribution purposes is easy.

While Iomega does not publish suggested street prices, it is anticipated
that end users will be able to purchase the drive at a street price of
approximately $775. It is also anticipated that end users will be able to
purchase 150MB Bernoulli media at $99 per disk. The drive is available now
through Iomega distributor, reseller and mail order channels. Also
available for Macintosh users is the MultiDisk Transportable and Dual
drives (external drives, which are compatible with Macintosh, IBM PCs and
compatibles and workstation computers).

Iomega Corporation, headquartered in Roy, Utah, develops, manufactures and
sells high-performance removable mass storage products for desktop and
portable computers and for workstations. Iomega's patented Bernoulli
Technology provides unlimited data storage capability by combining the
removability and security of floppy drives with the high capacity and
performance of rigid drives. Iomega's unique Tape250 minicartridge tape
drives read both QIC-80 and Irwin-formatted tapes. Iomega's new Floptical
drive uses Iomega's unique second-generation holographic technology.
Iomega's stock is listed on the NASDAQ National Market System under the
symbol IOMG. For additional information you can call their Customer
