Electronic Arts has announced the creation of EA Sports line of sports
software for video games and computers. EA Sports replaces Electronic
Arts' EASN brand, which was established in 1991. EA Sports will market
"Real Sports Games for Real Sports Fans," says the company. Releases for
16-bit game systems include John Madden Football '93, Bulls vs. Blazers
and the NBA Playoffs and NHLPA Hockey '93. Other video game releases for
1993 include Tony La Russa Baseball and PGA Tour Golf II. Michael Jordon
In Flight will also be released for the PC.
