January 6, 1993 -- Version 1.50 of Advanced Menu System has now been
released by the English Software company Go Software.

AMS aims to solve the problems which can be encountered when using Novell's
Menu. The program is compatible with Novell's MENU Script files, allowing
AMS to replace MENU with the minimum of configuration.

AMS provides additional features to allow maximum ease of use in a network
environment. These include, Zero memory overhead during program execution,
an in-built menu option editor and debugger, multiple menu files in memory
concurrently, a user audit trail, and temporary file storage in a single
directory.

Other features include a screen saver with re-entrant password security,
automatic menu configuration with scan drive for applications, context
sensitive help on every DOS command, and easy to use frontends for the
Capture NDir and Send commands.

AMS costs from $40 for a network licence. The Software is released as
shareware and, after requests from a number of vendors, a retail version
is also available.
