AIMTECH CORP. ACQUIRES ASSETS OF TIGER MEDIA
ADDS TO UNIX MULTIMEDIA PRODUCT LINE

NASHUA, N.H., January 22, 1993 -- AimTech Corporation, a multimedia
software company, today announced that it has acquired the assets of Tiger
Media, Inc. of Los Angeles in exchange for AimTech stock.

Tiger Media was formed in 1986 and markets CATS MEOW, a multimedia
presentation product for the Sun platform, along with two entertainment
titles for the interactive/home market. These titles are delivered on
compact disc and currently run on the IBM PC, Sun SPARCstation, and Amiga
platforms. They include two 1930's-style comic book murder mysteries: "The
Case of the Cautious Condor" and "Murder Makes Strange Deadfellows."

"Our prime objective was to acquire their cross-platform technology that
allows for development on the Sun platform with delivery on multiple
platforms," said Usman Ismail, AimTech's president and CEO. "In addition,
we have made a strategic decision to enter the home commercial titles
market. We are fortunate to now have two award-winning titles in our
product stable."

"AimTech has developed a solid reputation as a leading provider of
multimedia authoring systems for the Windows and UNIX platforms. The Tiger
Media technology will help us augment our multimedia authoring product
line and move us another step forward in helping our customers with
cross-platform delivery of computer-based training programs" continued
Ismail.

First shipped in 1991, CATS MEOW is a presentation and playback system for
building interactive information systems on Sun workstations. The product
integrates graphics, audio, text, interactivity, and video, and has been
used in the financial, government, and medical fields. Customers include
AT&T, Eastman Kodak, Merrill Lynch, New York Telephone, and Toshiba.

According to Ismail, AimTech plans to enhance the functionality of CATS
MEOW and will relaunch CATS MEOW in Spring 1993. AimTech will continue to
support Tiger Media's customers as they are currently contracted.

Effective immediately, AimTech will employ several of Tiger Media's
engineering, technical support, and sales staff. As of February 1, 1993
they will work out of AimTech's new office at 370 Amapola Ave., Suite 100,
Torrance, CA, 90501. The AimTech telephone number remains 310-640-9865.

AimTech Corporation, a privately held company with offices in Nashua, N.H.,
Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Denver, CO, and London, England, develops
and markets multi-platform software products including IconAuthor for
creating interactive multimedia applications.
