Company Appoints National Sales Manager, Mary Beth Coyne and Signs Connors
Communications

Richmond, Calif., October 28,1992 - Unicorn Engineering, developers of the
Unicorn and Intellikeys overlay keyboards for the pre-school kindergarten
through 6th grade and disabilities markets, announced today that it has
changed its name to IntelliTools.

"As we continue to develop products like the IntelliKeys keyboard for the
pre-schools and K-6 markets, we felt that this new company name would
better communicate our long term business goals, ' said Arjan Khalsa,
President of IntelliTools. "The name IntelliTools is a blend of important
components of our business strategy: providing customers with 'intelligent
tools.' "

IntelliKeys The Keyboard for Kids

The IntelliKeys' keyboard designed for kids, began shipping in May 1992.
The keyboard can be used with Macintosh, Apple II, IBM/Tandy and
compatible computers and includes six interchangeable keyboard overlays
including Arrows, Numbers, Basic Writing, Standard IBM and Macintosh
layouts. The overlays allow educators to choose a keyboard face that
matches students' needs. The IntelliKeys keyboard has a suggested retail
price of $395 and is available through authorized education dealers
nationwide or direct from the company.

Unlike most other keyboards designed for kids, the IntelliKeys keyboard
works with virtually all computer software. The new IntelliKeys Overlay
Maker allows educators and parents to create custom overlays to coordinate
with specific software and/or lesson plans. The Overlay Maker software
will be available for Macintosh, IBM/Tandy and compatible computers in
January 1993 for $69.95. IntelliTools plans to introduce additional
IntelliKeys products in early 1993.

The company also announced today that Mary Beth Coyne has joined the
company as National Sales Manager. Coyne pins IntelliTools with six years
experience in education sales having worked at Broderbund Software and
Davidson & Associates. Coyne holds a B.A. from California State
University, Long Beach and has pursued graduate courses in education and
linguistics.

"Mary Beth's experience, knowledge and reputation in the educational and
technology markets will help us in our efforts to target new niches
including early childhood," said Arjan Khalsa, President of IntelliTools.
"Her experience in sales and distribution provides a critical link in the
growth of IntelliTools."

With the expansion of its marketing and communications programs,
IntelliTools has hired Connors Communications, a strategic communications
agency specializing in the education, consumer and publishing markets. The
agency will provide general marketing and public relations consulting
services to IntelliTools and guide communications initiatives to the
disabilities, early childhood, school and home markets.

IntelliTools, based in Richmond, California, was founded in 1979. The
privately-held company designs and manufactures the IntelliKeys and
Unicorn keyboards, peripherals and software for the early childhood,
