STUNT ISLAND NOW AVAILABLE
SETS NEW STANDARD FOR FLIGHT SIMULATIONS

November 19, 1992 -- BURBANK, CA --From now on flight simulators are going
to fall into two categories --those that came before, and those that came
after, Stunt Island. Disney Software is now shipping for IBM/Tandy and
100% compatibles, this combination of flight simulator and movie-making
program, that is in a class of one in the crowded field of simulations and
destined to change every simulator that follows it.

Stunt Island: The Stunt Flying and Filming Simulator combines a top flight
simulator with the facilities to create stunt films rich with music,
speech, and special effects (appropriate sound board required). Developed
with input from top Hollywood talent, Stunt Island allows players to
design, fly, film and edit their own action-packed films in worlds they
create. Threading a row of highrises with MiGs in pursuit, emerging from a
spectacular explosion in a near-fatal strafing run, landing on a moving
train and ducking under a heavily traveled Golden Gate bridge while
playing chicken with another plane, are just a glimpse of the creative
things the player can do in this powerful and unique simulation.

Players have access to 45 different aircrafts; from WWI classics and modern
jets to commercial planes and the space shuttle. The set editor allows the
player to modify any of the 34 existing sets or create new ones from
scratch. Over 800 complex objects such as vehicles, buildings, plants,
animals and famous landmarks can be selected to form the stunt's film
location.

Players can even choreograph the motion of props in response to a plane's
actions. For example, the user can film a scene that involves a plane
crash-landing onto a crowded highway. Players can set "event" parameters
that instruct the moving cars to veer away from the plane as it approaches
the highway. Some cars can be programmed to roll and crash, others to spin
out and stop, and the rest to continue their course down the highway.

After the stunt has been filmed in full 256-color VGA graphics, players can
go to the editing room to work on the film footage. Once edited, the user
can add the finishing touches of credits, titles, sound effects, music, or
voice-over and dialogue (using a Sound Blaster and microphone). Then, it's
on to the Stunt Island theater for the film's premiere.

Now available for IBM/Tandy and 100% compatibles, Stunt Island creates a
whole new category in the simulator genre with the blending of flying and
filming and has a suggested retail price of $59.95. Stunt Island is
shipping on six high density 3.5" disks or seven high density 5.25" disks
for MS-DOS computers. It supports The Sound Source as well as the Thunder
Board, Roland MT-32, IBM PS/1, Tandy, Ad Lib and Sound Blaster sound
platforms.
