INTECHNICA ANNOUNCES MULTIMEDIA ADVANCED ENGLISH LANGUAGE ACQUISITION
PROGRAM FOR ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE LEARNERS

November 25, 1992 -- Oklahoma City, OK--Intechnica International, Inc.
announces the Intechnica Advanced English Language Acquisition Program for
second language acquisition. The new product line will prepare
post-secondary English As A Second Language (ESL) learners for both
college and the workplace. Utilizing Intechnica's proprietary--READ,
WRITE, LISTEN and SPEAK--individualized learning system, the Intechnica
Advanced English Language Acquisition Program will combine several hundred
hours of instruction with interactive digitized speech and images to
create a multimedia language lab using CD-ROM technology.

The program builds on the success of the Intechnica I Speak English Program
and is designed to prepare post-secondary students for the TOEFL (Test of
English As A Foreign Language), BEST (Basic Education Skills Test) and
other standardized language tests used in higher education and adult basic
education programs. The forty+ lesson program is divided into four
sections focusing on post-secondary skill building in Vocabulary,
Listening Comprehension, Reading Comprehension and Writing Structures. All
of the basic English grammar structures are imbedded in the program and
taught through advanced language acquisition techniques. The program
reading levels range from 8th grade to post-secondary level. When the
Intechnica I Speak English Program and Intechnica Advanced English
Language Acquisition Program are combined they provide instruction for
non-English speakers from zero speaking ability to post-secondary
literacy.

An example of lesson content follows:

Unit One--Vocabulary--covers lessons on Traveling to America, American
Cultures and Their Histories, Geography of the U.S., Government,
Transportation, Housing, Getting a Job, Banking, Healthcare, and Shopping
for a Car. All of the basic English grammar structures are imbedded in the
program and taught through advanced language acquisition techniques.

Dr. Martha Hayes, Executive Director of the Community Literacy Centers,
Inc., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma said, "Intechnica pioneered the development
of voice-interactive, multimedia, computer-based language acquisition
systems utilizing CD ROM technology with the release of the I Speak
English CD-ROM-based ESL Courseware in 1987. Currently being used
worldwide in schools, community-based learning centers, correctional
institutions and worksite training programs, the Intechnica I Speak
English Program--in statistically validated field tests--has been proven
to support language learning two times as fast in a third less time than
classroom only instruction."

P. Stanley Bolin, President of Intechnica said, "At Intechnica, we believe
schools and workplace training programs must enable the efficient
acquisition of literacy in English as well as other languages through the
creative application of technology and recognized methodologies. One
reason that America has not done a good job in achieving fluency levels in
its English acquisition programs is due to time restraints imposed on
teachers in a traditional classroom. This translates into 'not enough
time-on-task for the student'. Computer-based language instruction allows
the student to work at his own pace until adequate fluency is achieved and
is available at other time for additional practice."

The Intechnica Advanced English Language Acquisition Program can be used on
a single PC workstation or in a network environment with the proprietary
Intechnica VoxBox2 CD-ROM Client Server--which will allow up to twenty
users access to six CDROM databases holding more than 3 gigabytes of
information with retrieval speeds of a few milliseconds. General
availability for the Intechnica Advanced English Language Acquisition
Program is projected for the second quarter 1993.

Intechnica Language Literacy Systems are an integrated hardware, software
and curriculum application utilizing Intechnica's proprietary--READ,
WRITE, LISTEN and SPEAK--individualized learning system Intechnica
Language Literacy Systems use IBM PC compatible microcomputers, a
proprietary VoxCard sound digitizer and the VoxBox2 CD-ROM Client Server.
