SOFTWARE GROVE MESSAGES 1.5 RELEASED BY SOFTWARE GROVE CORPORATION

Software Grove Messages 1.5 enhances message viewing and printing, and
more.

November 2, 1992 -- Kirkland, WA -- Software Grove Corporation today
released version 1.5 of its software product, Software Grove Messages for
IBM PCs running Microsoft Windows. The software is titled Software Grove
Messages because it assists in filling out the all-to-familiar pink or
blue phone message forms often titled "IMPORTANT MESSAGE." The
enhancements included in version 1.5 were based on reactions from users of
the first release. The reaction from users include Marina Beehe at Steven
Ames Brown, Attorney, who said: "Too cool for words!" and Wendy Gleisner
at Web Insurance who said: "I loved your manual!" Enhancements in

Software Grove Messages 1.5 include:

1. Easier searching for messages and easier viewing of messages on screen -
especially across multiple days.

2. When viewing on screen, messages can now be displayed tiled either
horizontally or vertically.

3. Easier printing of messages for multiple days and nicer looking printed
message forms that now include user selectable fonts.

4. New option to have messages editable or password protected and
encrypted.

5. New options to control program operation, like optional exit on save or
print, presets on message icons, and user selectable colors and fonts.

6. Multiple message icons, so the user can now put multiple flags on a
message, such as by selecting both "Important" and "Third Call".

7. The user interface has been changed to follow Windows conventions more
strictly.

Software Grove Messages has several key advantages over the use of paper
forms, including: never having to search for a pad, never having to
decipher scrawled numbers, automatically filling in company and phone
numbers fields for regular callers (as well as the date, time and
operator's initials), and by effortlessly providing back-up copies and
caller reports. The package includes 4-up, pink message forms for use in
any standard printer; it can also print one message per page or 4 messages
per page or Call Tracker (tm) forms on standard paper.

According to John Grove, President of Software Grove: "In a survey of the
market that we did in April of 1992, we interviewed secretaries at 150
California and Washington companies selected from Contacts Influential and
the Yellow Pages. We found that over 50% have computers on their desks,
and over 50% of those want to have a message pad on their computer screen.
This desire for automation by secretaries was independent of the company's
size, including companies from 2 to thousands of employees. "

Software Grove Messages 1.5 for Windows is immediately available at $69.95.
Software Grove Messages operates under Microsoft Windows 3.0 and 3.1, on
any Windows compatible PC, using any Windows compatible monitor and
printer. A 60-day money back guarantee is provided. An MS-DOS version and
a LAN version (compatible with popular LAN's including Novell Netware,
LANtastic and LAN Manager) are also under development, release is
scheduled for the 4th quarter of 1992. Distributors for Software Grove
Messages include Daiseytec, American Software & Hardware, Tiger Software,
Microwarehouse and Global Computer Supplies.
