ELAINE BOND OF CHASE TO DELIVER NETWORLD KEYNOTE

Chase Manhattan Executive and Founder of OURS Group, to Open NetWorld 93
Boston, Jan. 12-14, at Hynes Center

(Fort Lee, NJ, Nov. 11) -- Elaine Bond, Chase Fellow and senior technology
consultant for Chase Manhattan Bank, and chairman of the OURS Group, will
deliver the keynote address at NetWorld 93 Boston, Jan. 12-14, at the John
B. Hynes Convention Center in Boston.

Ms. Bond will discuss the struggle between the original promises of ease of
use, and the increasing complexity of the latest distributed computing
systems, in her keynote speech, entitled, "Users Are Riding the Waves of
the Technology Push, But . . . Are We Having Fun Yet?" The keynote will
take place on Jan. 12, at 9 a.m., in the Marriott Copley Hotel in Boston.

OURS (Open User Recommended Solutions) is a worldwide not-for-profit group
of industry users, vendors and service providers. Its mission is to assist
end users through improving multivendor computing. The group focuses
attention on tactical issues, provides a forum for user and multivendor
cooperation, and creates task forces and workshops for users and vendors
to produce solutions -- and provide for their implementation. OURS has
already established a process for resolving multivendor computing problems
and tactical needs, in areas such as information exchange, multivendor
education and software licensing, according to Ms. Bond.

"OURS will continue to foster the multiplicity of vendors -- this is
increasingly important to us as end users," said Ms. Bond. "NetWorld
Boston certainly provides the group and its members with another
opportunity to meet all of the important vendors in one place, and at one
event."

In addition to Chase Manhattan Bank, 33 other organizations are members of
OURS. They include organizations such as: Brigham Young Univ., DEC, IBM,
Levi Strauss & Co., Microsoft, Morgan Lewis and Bockius, Novell, Oracle,
Pacific Gas & Electric, Shell Oil, Software A.G., Tandem, Texaco, USWest,
Wells Fargo Bank and Ziff-Davis Publishing.

Ms. Bond was instrumental in founding OURS. Before joining Chase in 1981 as
senior v.p., corporate systems -- a position she held for more than 11
years -- she was employed by IBM for 24 years. She graduated magna cum
laude from Tufts University in 1957.

NetWorld Boston will feature more than 365 exhibitors of computer
networking hardware, software and services during the three-day trade show
and conference at the Hynes Convention Center and the adjacent Sheraton
Boston Hotel & Towers.

Exhibitors will include: 3Com, Artisoft, Banyan Systems, Borland
International, Cabletron, Cheyenne Software, Emerald Systems, Hayes, IBM,
Intel, Lotus Development, Madge Networks, Microsoft, Novell, Proteon, SMC,
SynOptics, Thomas Conrad and WordPerfect.

NetWorld Boston will also include a Seminar Series, featuring more than 80
seminars running concurrently with the show. Nine full-day NetWorld
Tutorials will take place on Monday, Jan. 11.
