New Brochure Details Data Analysis Functions in LabVIEW and LabWindows 

Over 100 Analysis Functions Integrated into Flexible Instrumentation
Application Software

November 2, 1992 -- Austin, TX - National Instruments announced today a
free new 1 6-page brochure highlighting the analysis capabilities of
LabVIEW and LabWindows instrumentation software.

The new brochure, "Scientific Data Analysis Using LabVIEW and LabWindows,"
describes the functions available in the LabVIEW and LabWindows analysis
libraries for spectral analysis, time analysis, digital filtering,
numerical analysis, statistical analysis, and regression analysis. The
brochure discusses the functions as they are used in real-world
applications, such as medical monitoring, vibration analysis, process
control, data acquisition, test and measurement, and applied physics.

The power of the functions in the LabVIEW and LabWindows analysis libraries
comes from the ease of integrating them into complete applications for
data acquisition, data analysis, and data presentation. With the open
design of LabVIEW and LabWindows, users can easily add custom functions to
the libraries. For data visualization, LabVIEW and LabWindows both have a
powerful graphical user interface environment to easily build and
customize data displays and presentation.

LabVIEW is a graphical programming system for Windows-based PCs, Sun
SPARCstations, and Macintosh computers. LabWindows is an automatic code
generation package with libraries for popular programming languages
(Microsoft C, BASIC, and VBDOS, and Borland C++, and Turbo C++).
