EVERYONE CAN BE A MUSICIAN WITH NEW PERFORMANCE SOFTWARE PROGRAM

September 17, 1992 -- Issaquah, Wash. -- Music buffs now have access to a
whole new kind of musical instrument -- their home PCs!

Azeroth, Inc., Issaquah, Wash., has developed Dr. Jam, a performance
quality music processing software program which allows users to create --
and perform -- original music on their home computers without using
musical notation.

Dr. Jam is ideal for both the expert musician as well as for the budding
music enthusiast. It is easy to learn and use for beginners, yet still
maintains the level of sophistication demanded by professionals. For the
more experienced musician, Dr. Jam is a powerful tool for exploring new
techniques of composition and improvisation. And, Dr. Jam is affordable
compared to other musical software programs -- it retails for just
$99.95.

Also unlike other musical programs, Dr. Jam has very little additional
computer hardware requirements. Dr. Jam runs on standard IBM-compatible
PCs equipped with Microsoft Windows 3.1 as long as the system has a
Windows 3.1 compatible sound board or MIDI Interface and keyboard.

Dr. Jam features four "players" which can be used alone or in varying
combinations:

Picker. Each computer key represents a different chord which can be played
like a finger-picking guitarist in many customizable rhythms, generating
flowing accompaniments to voice or other instruments Templates of chord
progressions for popular songs are also included, however it is easy to
create customized chords just by clicking on selected notes.

Player. Computer keys can be assigned to play a full chord, with up to
eight notes distributed over five octaves. This feature lets anyone play
fast changes between difficult chords that even an expert would be unable
to play on a normal keyboard.

Strummer. Allows one hand to choose the chords while the other hand strums.
Computer keys are assigned to extended chords or scales, and mouse
movements determine when and which notes from those chords or scales are
played.

Drummer. Choose from preset drum rhythms or create customized rhythms.
Switch between drum parts with just a single keystroke.
