ARTISOFT ANNOUNCES NEW FIVE STAR CONNECTIVITY RESELLER PROGRAM

Will Specialize In Multiplatforms, Vertical Markets And Workgroup Solutions
For Corporate America

(TUCSON, AZ--November 10, 1992)--Artisoft, Inc. announced today that it has
developed the Artisoft Five Star Connectivity Reseller Program, a new
program for super connectivity VARs (value-added resellers) and systems
integrators. In contrast to its Artisoft Authorized Five Star Reseller
program (which certifies resellers in basic networking issues and
platforms) this new program will support the growing number of VARs who
have specialized in larger networks of 20 or more nodes and/or one of the
following areas: multiple platforms; high-end businesses; government,
education and specialized markets; peer-to-peer resource-sharing in a
client-server environment; and specialized client-server applications.

"Watching the rapid growth of our reseller base, it became quite evident
that we have a large group of VARs and systems integrators who are
specifically oriented towards medium- to high-end connectivity issues,"
stated Dave Hallmen, Artisoft's Vice President of Sales & Marketing. "We
are giving these resellers the highly specialized training, resources and
cutting-edge products they need to respond to the demands of the growing
multiplatform and workgroup markets."

This program is available to interested Five Star Resellers who have been
in good standing for a minimum of six months. Conditional certification
will be given immediately upon satisfactory completion of a connectivity
knowledge test. Full certification will be awarded within six months after
successful completion of specific product training classes.

In return, Artisoft will support its Five Star Connectivity VARs with these
unique opportunities: all sales leads involving 20-node opportunities and
above (upon expiration of existing certification within the area); access
to enhanced technical support; a separate toll-free support number; a
modified co-op program for allowing travel and training;
individual/company certifications and unique product authorizations;
special field support from Business Development Group representatives;
beta-test site opportunities; a driver development program; unique
regional training conferences; eligibility for Advisory Council
membership; and contract administrative assistance.

Artisoft Five Star Connectivity Resellers will also be provided access to
all current and upcoming Five Star marketing/support programs including: a
media kit; a merchandising catalog; an optional $799 for-resale kit;
Artisoft's best reseller prices and payment terms; the Artibucks co-op
advertising program; vertical market programs; Reseller of the Month and
Year awards; RAM-OGRAMs; the MCI gateway system for lead distribution;
Artisoft 201 and 301 training; and Tech Talk seminars.

The initial enrollment fee of $999 is refundable in its entirety within the
first six months at a rate of 2% of the VAR's total sales. Each
newly-enrolled reseller will receive an Artisoft Five Star Connectivity
Reseller Kit which presently includes one LANtastic for Macintosh system,
one LANtastic for TCP/IP package, one LANtastic for NetWare kit, the
connectivity knowledge test, third-party compatibility charts, the
connectivity training manual, a product training schedule, a subscription
to the LANual Information Service and access to free regional product
training.

Resellers interested in joining the Artisoft Five Star Connectivity VAR
program should call Artisoft Inside Sales at 1-800-TINY RAM. This program
is subject to minor modifications.

Artisoft remains committed to its existing Five Star Reseller program and
offers all newly-enrolled Artisoft Authorized Five Star Resellers the
option of purchasing a $799 "for resale" kit during their first three
months in the program. Artisoft has also recently enhanced its Five Star
Reseller program with the following benefits: a new media kit and
merchandise catalog; a revised ArtiBucks advertising co-op program;
Artisoft's 401 "Tech Talks" training class; and the option of purchasing
the $799 "for resale" kit until the end of the year.

Artisoft develops and manufactures a full line of hardware and software for
local area networks including the LANtastic Local Area Network. Recognized
as the leader in peer-to-peer networking for DOS and Windows environments,
the LANtastic network now offers multiplatform connectivity solutions for
NetWare and Macintosh systems. It allows up to 300 users of IBM-compatible
computers to connect and share information and peripheral devices such as
printers, hard drives and CD-ROMs and has won numerous industry awards for
its cost-effective features, performance and ease of use. Artisoft
